It is set thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, the series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to be reignited. Jon, Hayden and Josh sit down with Kristian to talk about how they got the idea for the show, how it came to be and how they convinced the original actors to return for the show.
