Purple FTW!

At the midway point of the season, the Minnesota Fightin' Vikings are setting up for a fantasy run in 2017. But will it end up as a nightmare? Like most of Andy's stupid fantasy teams? To dive in, we brought in friend of the show Scott Fish (@ScottFish24) of Fanball to talk about the rebirth of the site, answer some fantasy football questions (mainly react to my whining), and pontificate about the Vikings in both fantasy and real world terms.

Well that depressing. The Minnesota Fightin' Vikings got whacked in the NFC Championship Game 38-7 by the horse-punching Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night. Let's pass the blame bucket around! Surprisingly Mike Zimmer and that record setting Zimmer Hellfire Defense is on top of the list.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the final level boss standing between the Minnesota Fightin' Vikings and becoming the first team to ever play the Super Bowl in their home stadium. In case you hadn't heard. To shine some light on the Birds of Prey, we welcomed Locked on Eagles co-hosts Michael Kist (@MichaelKistNFL) and Benjamin Solak (@BenjaminSolak). We chatted about how the Eagles defense matchups up against Case Keenum and the Vikings, their belief in Nick Foles, and how the Zimmer Double-A Gap look is so simple/so complicated. A playoff miracle FINALLY went the Minnesota Fightin' Vikings' way as the Purple staved off a potential historic collapse to defeat the New Orleans Saints 29-24 Sunday at Historic US Bank Stadium. Stefon Diggs' last second 61-yard touchdown catch and run will go down as one of the few positive infamous moments in team history. Now it's on to Philadelphia for a chance to travel to.... Minneapolis to play Super Bowl LII.

Vikings Fans this will be the first step on the road to redemption as the Purple try to Bring It Home.
