I think you'll be intrigued as well. We get deep into topics that are quite important to the current age things like cognitive dissonance, cognitive distortions. How does our mind work? We talk about everything of the Doctor Who podcast that is of real relevance. We get all the way into deep physics and all sorts of stuff. But trust me, it's all very accessible. It's very interesting headaches. If you're even interested in learning about headaches, we get there. We go to the interesting topics of the day. Please join us at the Dr. Drew podcast. Now of Brandon, six, boy. Shaw, what is up there Monday morning? How are you guys? Everybody good, great, grand, wonderful. Fresh off the plane from Phoenix, Arizona is hot out there not getting a lot of heat. It's hot that over, I think 30 or 40 days or one hundred and twenty degrees weather some crap like that. It's insane. Insane. Didn't mind the heat, though. Love Phoenix Chin finally got the tri jets wing. Oh dude, it lived up to what you said. It's so good you got to get the works, though it was called works. It's called the works. I think it's just the words means it's all there. Sources on one. Oh, but they deep fry like every wing place I've been to, but then they grill them. Then they tossed that fire sauce on it. How good is it, dude? It reminded me of Korean fried chicken that they do the same kind of stuff. That's why I love it a lot. Oh, that makes sense. Because you guys do this similar like the cooking show multiple times. Yeah. Oh, wow. So it's not like, uh, jets wing thing. It's more of a Korean thing. No, no. I mean, reminded me of crew. So what did they steal that? No, I don't technique. I'm a Korean. It must be an old school cultural appropriation. You never know. All right. Well, I'll tell you what J.T. Williams could use as more staff. That poor lady is one, and it's packed. It's packed. It's about the size of this studio. Like this studio? Not the entire thing by this studio. It's packed in some just one waitress just doing things. Just just as she claimed. The food's fantastic, though. Yeah, yeah. I love Phoenix, man. Absolutely loved it. All the boys came out for the show on Friday at Stand Up Live on My Favorite Clubs is so pseudo there. Kelvin Gastelum. Cory Sandhagen. Oh, am I forgetting fighters there? What are the real Frank Mir? His wife, of course, Frank Mir. His wife was there. Phil, get some other guys. Trying to think that locker room was the locker room green room groom whose real cereal wiener fest. Well, two dudes in there did a lot of dudes. It's a great time, though. I feel like we're forgiving somebody. I might have it on my camera. Oh yeah, your Jim was vlog. You ugly gym was on it too, man. He was like, How are you feeling? Come on, man. Come on, Doug. And then you went to the UFC fights with me because that's why I did just one show on Friday because you Ifl, who I'm working with, is they're based out of Mesa, where they do all their fights. So they had their big fight card there. I'm going to fight well. I went to one championship, but before that, I haven't been a fight in a hot circuit. Good night of fights, fun fights. Good great production. Yet Rampage Son fighting Raja Raja Raja's vegan and that's why Rampage thinks he lost. He did lose by decision. I think it's I didn't agree with the matchmaking. They gave him a pretty good wrestler for his first pro fight, which is just a lot for killing his first pro fight. So overall, the night of fights were great. I saw a bunch of my old buddies C.B. Dollaway, who's Arizona's finest Joey Villasenor. He's trained with the Jacksons. I haven't seen him forever. He's be a nightmare to spar. He's so awkward UFC that their human, Keith Jardine, was super close. The both those guys. Yeah, just saw everybody, man. There are so many people there. Ed Herman, my boy Ed Herman, he was coaching Cory Sandhagen, had a guy fight in his guys in the finale. There's just a ton a ton of people. And then I'm trying to think, Oh, and then I got to hang out with Chris Angel. Wow. Yeah, oh yeah. Joe was drinking, so he missed all this. But no, Chris Angel for you, don't you don't see Chris Angels. So at the euphoria disappeared. But yeah, you fell. Or the were the UFO man. He was all over the only guy that looked like a magician and I was sitting right behind you, basically. I bet I talked to him for 30 minutes. You won't see any of it. So is he sitting next to them? Nah, man, he's over. And we to Larry stand and talk about 30 minutes. I was hanging out with Ben and Project. And then and then there's there's a guy named, so there's Shannon Briggs, who's the boxer, right? Yeah, let's go champ Shannon Briggs. There's a guy named Shannon Rich who's like old school. Mae Guy, I think is most fights in the history of Mama and Sharon Rich somehow thought I was talkin stuff about not talkin stuff, but was making fun of them. I don't know how it happened, but he was talking. He goes, Hey, man, I thought we were a cool bunch. My guys sent me stuff, so you were talking stuff. I was like, Ah, and you know, to be fair, I've never maybe I've heard them, but I'm not too familiar with his work. I know, I know he has all the fights in the world, but I think you got the lines got crossed because I was talking about Shannon Briggs, not Shannon Rick. Very similar. Very, very, very. That was the only thing I could think when he's talking about, and he's not a great guy. Nice guy had a little a*s outfit on to, but really nice guy. But he's a guy, man. It bothers me, man. They said, You're not to make a roast roasted me. I was like, Are you sure it's not Shannon Briggs? But we squashed the beef. He was a nice guy. I don't think there's any beef. He's a good dude. He has all the fights. Go to his record. Yes. I mean, he has all the fights this guy fights for straight up a living. He like his record Sutton crazy dude. So he first of all, he had many fights told ABC. Sixty nine hundred fifty one match and 151 fights. 151 fights, 58 wins. They still I mean, he's still doing it, didn't he? He can't be that old. I mean, young. Yeah, he's like 52. But he used to. But his background, you're talking about a larger badass like, listen to his background. So rich was born. His Arizona's finest was raised dirt poor, rich and learning karate from a young age. Became a professional kickboxer. This is the 80s. Yeah, he was in Blackwater. Jesus has deployed in Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan. Yes, black belt. Um, yeah, do you, Tom, I like a real legit badass in Blackwater, I want no problems with this man. Third degree black belt in karate. Yeah, and has a hundred and year 2000 fight. OK. The nice guy do probably good. And if I'm right, he said, Dude, he is a prototypical pride fighter. Yeah, old school. Uh, yeah, I guess so. About Sakurada Jesus, which lost Achilles lock submission a minute into the fight, right? Not Tamara, the submission, huh? They thought all kicking the cage, of course, they had to be huge in their zone. Well. Reward. What is this until Martin Sheen took part in an event promoted by U.S. fighter Brad Gore to in place in Russia with no audience, no ring, no cage. The card featured Marvet with women taking on a man. Okay, hold on. Hold on. Feature men with the woman taking on man in mixed martial arts when I suppose he's taking a million dollar purse in the car and a heavyweight bout against professional wrestler Jerry Meyers. Well, it doesn't say anything if the woman won or not, because he did, I thought you were saying he fought a woman. Interesting. Is it storied career, though? Blackwater? Yeah, real, real, legit, bada*s. Bare knuckle. But of course he did. Bare knuckle. Jesus Christ. He won the fight via knocked out 26 seconds the first round, then he's wrestling Japan, wrestling everything. God, Todd, what hasn't this guy done? Oh, and he goes, he does acting. You thought I was busy, this dude is. Oh, dude, he was in Walker, Texas Ranger. It's a legend, dude. CSI. And do golfing. Oh, what's up, Casey thing to get a golf? He took first place in many state and pro-am competitions. I put some heavy on your man and left away that freaking crazy fighting sport. Well, what's that? It's like it's bare fisted elbows I think headbutts to and everything. This guy don't give up. Wow. Good. Good guy, though. Nice guy. He was cool. Cool. Yeah, he's cool. Shot too, you. Thanks for having us. It was a grand old time. So my boy Tiki, the manager for everyone that said I saw them to announce a Tracy Cortez, how much did you drink? We drank. She was like we was at a floating theater. You saw Tracy Cortez escorts. She's one of my favorites. Yeah, she's great. Tiki doing the damn thing. Ben Henderson, beneficence wife is like the. What would you call she like the operational manager, she was running around like Joe Silver, but also just doesn't do matchmaking, puts the whole event together. She has like a twin sister too, right? There's like some of those. I didn't know they were twins because the one? So there's Ben Henderson's wife, right? She was in jean shorts and hanging out with Ben, all the fighters over there. And then there's her twin sisters, operational manager, who was like dressed up because obviously running the event and I don't know, they're twins. And then she left and, you know, there was clocked in probably frickin crazy. Chris Angel, who's such a good dude and you realize how rich criss angel is broke horsemen to 70 million a year for magic. He's been doing since 2005. Wow. I know I was like, you like an assistant or something you like, cut me in half too. I used to do that too to pick up girls. Look, the game, I started learning magic and it actually works in that book. It's as big a magic. God does better things in the book, but that's one of the things. And it works in a nightclub, at a bar, in a day, club looking box. Bah bah bah bah bah, you're off. Yeah, you do that. Boy, I feel like if you had to pull off magic in a nightclub, maybe it's just not you. I know. Sometimes it seems like what's behind your ear. She's like, Oh my god, don't touch me. He's like, I'm just like Florida. They're like, Oh, it's a quarter sequins change this day and age chins. Like, Was your card? 10 of spades. No, no, no, no. It's I'm sorry. What? You're like, Oh, I you said 10. Especially the 10 of hearts. Seems like a nightmare. Golf, you have to learn magic tricks. It was one of the techniques to get a tattoo on your face. A conversation piece? Yeah, magic. Or take Andrew Tate's claws. I feel like that would no doubt that it exists. Like that's more beneficial. 100 percent. Yeah. And when you die, how do you learn and when you're like, I, you want to teaching, they're like, No, OK. No, I'm doing. I walk away. Head down the dark arts. Do something so creepy that isn't, Hey, hey, the magic. A hard pa*s. Hard pa*s. So you guys later. Yeah, I would love to see that you did ever work for you. Yeah, sometimes it work. How so? What's defined work? So just actually getting her number and then going on a date afterwards? Oh, really, some are just so entranced by magic. It's so crazy. Like, some were just super into it. Nature girls are so you know they they want to believe in like, you know, crazy s**t. So it just makes you seem like you're like, so amazing to understand. Don't you think? Do you just like watch Ghost Adventures and like, talked like some ghost ship within the hour show? Or even like, uh, like no. And like all the the like, what year were you born? What you know? What's your side? Yeah, there's magical skill numbers too fast. You lose people between a certain amount of numbers. I would usually get the number because there's like a thing that happens with people they pick, you know, certain numbers if you give them a bracket. So if I said pick numbers one in five, you got it. Yeah. Three, my number was 30, dude. So, you know, it's like, I don't know. Luckily, we only start learning matt eyebrows. It's like, Oh God, it took whatever. Some guys just really bad. It is like, I just I. I regret to tell you not to tell you much. However, you sound like a nice steak house. Like, please go like you're the steak. Here's lobster. Oh my god. Holy s**t, that's lit the wrong skill set. Do you do the magic number of criss angel, you know, goes way that it's like a real magician? And I want to pick your number two and one, three, three two, which you want to go out tomorrow night. She's also the creepiest. Oh, that's it. I'm glad you learned that. Well, let's get right on the fights. Shout out to Chris Angel and Chin The Magicians. Let's take a little break from UFC 292 this Saturday in Boston. All right, because I am all hopped up on my favorite product, Happy Hippo. That's right. However, you want to get your happy hippo. Share it with a friend ! That's a lifetime promo code that's happy hippo dot com protocol to stick with. Three. 23 for 20 percent off. Now let's get back to the program. You'll see two ninety two is here, kids, and in Boston, it's in Boston, too. The last time I went to UFC fight was in Boston. I went to Francis Gano and Steep, where steep bay with weathered the storm with just those frickin Afghan bombs and eventually won a fight against Francis, which was which was insane. But this card is stacked. Take all my money. You got your headliners Aljamain Sterling, Sean O'Malley, Sugar, Sean. We know who the folks praying to God. Maybe if he's doing magic right now, hope and sugar Sean can pull this off because you know they want nothing more than sugar Sean to get this win come Saturday night. Yet waylay fighting Amanda Lemos, you know it's cool. Yet Neil Magny late replacement against Ian Mercado. Gary, tough fight for my boy Neil Magny, who I named the Gazelle, but he changed his name. Cody Garbrandt off. Yeah. You have Cheeto. Who's this card supposed to be stacked? So it's still good, but you're supposed to have Cheeto vs. Henry Cejudo. But Cejudo is hurt, so he's feeling pretty good now, though. Oh, of course, in Hagan got the surgery, so he's out six months, not a year. He's got six months. So but he did. He was in a sling and Cornyn guys with one arm doing magic. But yet Chino, Ververs, Pedro Munoz played the best fight in the card, to be honest. Chris Weidman long awaited return against Brad Tavares, two of my faves, two of the nice guys in the sport. It's any one of them lose. They got Weidman as a plus 210 dog. Against the virus, too, which is kind of, I don't know, has fallen on hard times to both. These are straight up that like the matchmaking here, though. You know, I think the UFC is just like, Yeah, when are you going to be gone? You know, we'll see some magic. Check this out when he is gone. And then he also got the Ultimate Fighter finale. Boys on there, Austin Hubbard and Kurt Hollaback all that up. And then one of my faze, Andre Petroski, was Gerald Machar. That's a great fight. My boy, Andre is a big favorite. Minus 290, almost minus 300 leads on this fight on this card. Andrea Lee's on this card. She had the whole Oh yeah, you know. Yeah, that whole. Everybody knows the Austin Hubbard and Kurt Holler bar fight from Ultimate Fighter. At what point did you stop watching Ultimate Fighter after episode one? Oh, well, yeah, I I stopped watching it two episodes ago. I missed. There was like a great fight. They said it was like Force vs. Stephan Bonnar. Yeah, Jason Knight. I saw the highlights that that was not painful to watch too, though. Yeah. Yeah. Austin Hubbard. This is my whole thing. The entire they they were set up for failure from the jump. You know, having young kids on this veterans, obviously all the vets are the only ones that moved on. Michael challenged him, dominated. So the kind of scrutiny from the jump. And I think when that happens, you know, it's just not intrigue and you just don't care. Also, there's something to be said about these young prospects that have personalities coming up, going to the UFC, fall their careers. Now it's like, you know, Austin Hubbard's been in the UFC career hall, but they've been in the UFC. We've seen the run. There's nothing enticingly. Stay along once they beat all these young prospects. These these savvy vets who've had the run in the UFC before, it's like, OK, it's just not exciting. It's not a knock on us. Austin Hubbard, I hope he wins the damn thing, goes on. Have a great career, but he's kind of he's done it. So it's like, All right, so if he wins, if he wins, the finale wins on Saturday night. What do you do with them, you know? You know, because he has so many fights and it's going to toss them, you know, young kids still? Is he going to compete in the top 15? I don't know what you do with them, but it's cool to see these old cats get a second chance at a career. I just don't. The ceilings are not that high on it, you know, so it doesn't make sense for fans to follow along. There's nothing intriguing there. Completely missed the boat on that. I thought the UFC did and the producers who did it by the same producers that put Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor in the Ice Bath for two hours almost killed both of them. That's one of the events. Dana was not happy. But this card overall great card, especially the main card. All that's good. Yeah. Andre Petroski on the on the prelims, Eisenhauer on the prelims. Gregory Rodriguez is white, I assume. One two three four. Wyoming kicks off the main card. Let's go to the actual UFC website. Let's see. The UFC website still has four Q. I know that's why I feel like they aren't on the hills their website. But sometimes you think at the level that they're at people that update the website. So if Cody Garbrandt on there. But, you know, you on main card when you click on go down to usually it'll show prelims and oh, this one, just just, yeah, just goes straight. I would assume because look, one, two three. And this one doesn't count for five. Yeah, Weidman kicks off the main card. So we start there, you got wideman Brad Tavares both form on tougher times, Chris Evans going up for a hot second, I think win, lose or draw. This is Weidman's last fight. I think he just wants to go out on a high note. Click on his last few fights. 10. So he's coming off the whole leg injury. No one really comes back at full health after this horrible leg injury. Yeah, he's fine. Some tough times, man. He's lost one two, three four, five, six, six eight and then those leg injury, so I'd assume him coming back is just him, you know, proven himself. He doesn't want to end on that note with that horrible leg injury because they had a wind before that. Man, I like the matchup since especially since Brad Tavares. There's a reason he's a dog, though, but I'm assuming because coming off and Brad's coming off two losses, you know, he's lost for as low as six. He's got some tough guys, though, man. Really tough guys. He went to a decision with du Plessis, who's no punk. Obviously, we've learned that. Then obviously he lost his. He lost the Shahbazyan to places. Bruno Silva. Tough guys. Mm-Hmm. You can see why Brad Tavares is the favorite that they've just thrown him to the Wolves dog. He's fought everybody. It's tough not to root for Weidman coming off this leg injury, but why Brown said he wants to spend more time at home with his kids and just kind of be present. Be a dad. So we'll see. But that's a good fight. A hundred percent. It's good fight. Yeah. So far to kick off the main card, I will take Chris Weidman. I refuse to bet against Chris Weidman. Even though I love Brad Tavares. I'll take Chris Weidman via TKO. He's a big dog for a reason, but how can you bet against Chris Weidman, all-American Weidman and his comeback from that? Yeah, I just want to see him do well. I don't see those guys lose, but I'm going to take Chris Weidman just because it's Chris Weidman. Cheeto Pedro Munoz. Love both. These guys, I think is by far the best star to fight on the main card. Probably your fight of the night. Tito needs this win to stay in the hunt for the title as well. There's big implications across the board with this. Let me see Pedro Chin comfortably comfortable win against Chris Gutierrez. The Sun O'Malley fight. Dominick Cruz loss. Jose Aldo loss. Frankie lost Algeo already. I'll take Cheeto. Cheeto gets done with his, his reach and his strike and definitely needs to avoid go on the ground with them. And that guillotine of Pedro's altitude, I think, gets done via TKO. Remember, too, it's a three round fight, so Tito might come out like a banshee instead of so slow like he's been doing lately. And then one of my other favorite matchups on the card got Ian Machado, Gary Ross, Neil Magny, you know, not not a I think it's a good fight for if you're big in Gary Fan, who is kind of the pride of Ireland, right? He's their next hope after the Carlton McGregor fiasco. He's kind of the next man in line has all the skills to get it done. This was what he did, how well he performed in that Daniel Rodriguez fight. Neil's my boy, but I will say this. You know, Neal, take on short notice, cardio is never his thing, he can go for days. It's just kind of a perfect match up for injury to showcase his skill set. I think he can get it done via knockout, which is easier said than done. It's not a lot of guys knock out Neil Magny at all. Neil Magny is kind of big thing is he's susceptible to getting submitted whenever he fights a high level due to guy, he always loses. Now, when it comes to getting knocked out, Ponzinibbio did it outside that it's tough to land. It's very tough to land now. You could see in Gary kind of implement the Lawrence Larkin offense here, where he is very aggressive. Neil does fight off his back foot, so you get to get him to the cage. Injury has a skill set to get that done. I think you can get a very Llorens Larkin performance out of injury apply pressure, which we don't see a lot with Neil Magny. He usually outpoint them, stays on his back foot, can circle the cage really well. Cardio for frickin days. Just work on the gazelle. But it's a tough fight for our boy, Neil Magny. I think in Gary gets it done, moves up in the rankings and he's off to the races, man. He gets a big knock out here. I do think he's going to be the talk of the town after this fight. If he and Gary can go out and perform like he does, and I'm big on it. And Gary Man is a straight stud, stud stud, great skill set. So I think Neil's ranked 11 right now. So for India, I think if he gets a highlight call, it will give him the top ten. Yeah, Neil's 11. So, so be a big win for him. In 13, yeah, he's 13, that Jack JDAMs 14. Yes, some young bucks in their Shafqat up there. One boy still have a fight, you, I'm sure you have them the current events for him, like in paid. But I would have liked if he gave me the keys to the to the arena out of Dun Engravers Wonderboy. That would have really catapulted them up to the top seven. I bet we see that fight, but not this year, but early next year. So, yeah, I'll take on 40, I'm betting, yes, my guys is there, but unfortunately, I'll take in trying to get a talk of the town. I think going can be the MVP of the card you have saying where Labor's Amanda Lemos? You know, it's not long ago Lemos lost in 2020, was at 20 or 21. She got kind of dismantled by just gone draws. You know, her her Jiu-Jitsu game is suspect. Her advantage would be her power and her her boxing over well. But I do think really has she's just a better fighter. Overall, her skill set is way more diverse. I think Waylay is going to be smart. I think she uses her offensive wrestling gets her down, and I think she gets her out in the first two rounds. The good thing is these aren't this homemade cards, and they can be a boring decision card in any facet. Every fight set up to be pretty freaking exciting, starting with Weidman. Tavares, that's going to be a war. Cheeto Pedrosa spread my fire the night in Gary Neil Magny. I think Gary gets a highlight. Kayo waylay Amanda Lemos. You're going to get a good fight. Other waylay there. I think she's going to be pretty aggressive and get Amanda down. Amanda could win. She has enough power to land one shot and not wheelie out, but Willie only loses to one person, one person only, and her name's rose outside that she beats the brakes off everybody, including Amanda Lemos. I'll take waylay. She's a big favorite, so it's no surprise there. Then your main event Algeo over sugar. Sean O'Malley wasn't always a bad matchup for everybody. You know, you'll hear around other people do what I do in the business. Go to a nightmare matchup for Sugar Shawn. Aljamain is a nightmare for everybody in the division with his skill set. Homeboy hasn't lost since one change. Scroll down. He hasn't lost since 2018, and he's had some fights. Man, 17 two on 17. When he got kicked by Marlon Moraes, yeah, well, that knee was bad. Since then, though, he's beat everybody, everybody. And I think to now what makes Algeo special? He knows what he's good at when he gets your back. He was like a backpack. There's nobody better in the history of the UFC that once they get your back and, you know, strength, you unconscious with a rear naked choke. That's where all jokes, you know, sells there. I do think. Again, he's a bad matchup for everyone. It's not a knock on sugar, but when you compare to compare what these guys do great, right? Obviously, sugar has such an advantage, becomes a stand up game. But Algeo has a significant advantage when it comes to grappling the wrestling being in the big fights, beating better opponents, the knock on sugar as his opponents write a lot of his wins. Those guys are in the UFC anymore. One of the wins a guy hasn't fought since he lost to sugar. And then with sugar, you know the time he has fought tough opponents in Cheeto. You know, he did lose that fight. Controversially, he lost that fight. And then when he finally got to Pedro Munoz, yet the accidental époque, so we don't know. And then when he stepped up to the big play against Peter John Star in the top three, it was the best match of form and I thought he did beat Peter John straight up. I thought it'd be proven. I think that shut up. A lot of the haters that had the knock on trigger isn't beating Buddy. He can compete at the highest level Hyperion man. And when it was prime Peter John like he'd be a damn good Peter. John Peter hasn't been the same since. So I think sugar is undervalued. I think people, you know, the knock on him is the UFC wants him to be champion, so they give him the easy path. Let me clear all this up. Yes, the UFC does give certain guys passes because, you know, sugar is a huge name. Huge name comes with a massive younger audience, and it is an advance to the UFC. If he becomes champion, the UFC can only do so much. Then eventually you're going to have to fight guys like Algeo or Petr Yan, and if you don't pass the test, they can't. After that, there's nothing to do. Now getting to that point, can the UFC accelerate your path to get to a title shot or get to the top five? Of course they did with Alex Pereira, but paid off the guys. A savage do not want to see him fight. You know, he's a massive name in the light heavyweight. He right away, he fights Yan. Former champ beats him. Nice for him for a title. Are you mad at it? I'm not. Now, did you take the same path of resistance as, you know, Tony Ferguson or, you know, some of these other guys? Dustin Poirier, you know, Max Holloway, who's fought everybody, a chief of their strength of schedule is pretty damn good. You know, you look at all these guys that, you know, Pedro Munoz fight everybody. You know, it's just the UFC can only do so much. At the end of the day, you have to be able to beat these guys that aren't perfect match ups and problem was not a perfect matchup for sugar and sugar. Pass that test. So I get that were the haters will push back and go, Oh, he hasn't fired anybody. He has. He fought Petr Yan. He beat them. So that doesn't work here. Ali was a nightmare of a match up. He is, but he's a nightmare for everybody in the division. So there's that. And you know. Would the UFC want sugar to win this fight? Of course, he's a massive star. If he wins this, this makes him even bigger. There's nothing the UFC can do Saturday night. There's nothing they can do to increase his grappling capabilities against Algeo. And even if he was a good grappler, he's no algo algo. So damn good. You guys aren't getting enough credit. That's why Algeo doesn't get the credit he deserves. I do. Blows my mind. I have no idea what the Bryan fights with this. Look at what he's done even before that. Look what he did to T.J. Yeah, but T.J. had one arm. OK, still dismantled on liquidity. Cory Sandhagen was excuse on that one. Cause damn good top three in the world. He dismantled Corey. Not even competitive. Now, if they fight again, I think it's a different story. A more competitive fight. Corey beat them. I don't know. But still a decoy look at the Henry Cejudo. What's your what's the excuse with Henry Cejudo? Well, so Henry Sue is over the hill. Who didn't, you know, ring rust. OK, still beat Henry Cejudo, if not top two greatest combat athletes of all time beat him. He also took them down. That's how fricking good Aljamain Algeo is at grappling his reasons. Good is just his phenomenal. His striking could definitely use some work, and I think that's why people will try to lean toward sugar here. But. You know, I think you have sugar brings his A-game, Algeo brings his A-game, Algeo is going to win that fight nine times out of 10 because of the way the rules are set up. Because of the way the sport is set up, a great grappler will usually always be a good striker if the strikers. No, not even close to the same level of grappler. It's just the way it goes to the ground or dictates where the fight goes. There's nothing sugar can do. And I saw an interview Sugar had with Brett Okamoto, where he goes. I have to be perfect. I have to be perfect. I know I'm taken down, which is about surviving on the ground. When I heard that, that made him say, Survivor, I'm like, Oh, I don't like that. I don't like that. I don't think you can survive on the ground, Algeo. I think it's only a matter of time for it. Get you down. Now it's differing. It's goalie Kenny Cejudo, who has a great wrestling background wrestling base and get back to his feet. And then Algeo can, you know, mix up the striking and secure the takedowns with sugar. It can be tough for him to just survive down there. I don't like that word survive, hoping that they either stand you up or you don't get submitted in the round and then you start back on your feet because then you're looking at every single round. You look at maybe a 30, 40, five second gap where you can maybe land a glancing blow. Now, sugar does have knockout power, you know, crazy knockout power. So if he does land one. But again, Cejudo at his best, I'm sorry. Algeo at his best sugar's best stroke to win that fight. I think both and do bring their A-game Saturday night. I just think it's Sterling's time, and I do think once sterling leaves and goes up to 145 and tries to take out all Will could ask you, which is another story. We'll get to that when that happens. But Algeo is big for the division is the strongest guy in the division. He has no skills in the division, he has the experience. He's that extra championship mentality. He's just impossible to beat right now. But when he leaves, I think it could definitely be Sugars division because as good as Merab is, I don't think he's as versus Algeo. I'll special man Merab. You know what you're getting. I think sugar has a better chance against marauding Jose Algeo. I think sugar has a better chance against Henry Cejudo, as he does Algeo. You know, the increase in Higgins Sugar is a great fight. So, yeah, I just think even if sugar loses, it doesn't do much. Know if he goes in and gets starched in the first round and gets taken down and, you know, strangled in 40 seconds. Yeah, it might hurt his street cred a little bit. But I think despite even if sugar lose this fight, which I do think he does, if he does lose this fight, I think he'll be fine because I was going to jump up and weigh which cities want to do. And they have Merab. You have Henry Cejudo, Cory Sandhagen at the top. I think sugar matches up well. I do think sugars can be champion just not Saturday night. I love sugar has all the skills in the world so exciting the UFC could definitely use him as a champion. The problem is you have Algeo at the top of the hill right now, and that's impossible for anyone, including Sugar, including Merab, including Henry Cejudo, including Course Hagan, including Cheeto. Sterling is just that damn good, you got to give him his flowers, man, he's that damn good, so tough night in the office for not just show your son sign knocked on sugar before anyone in that division. That's me tough for Sean to get done unless and I hate when people say Lucky Punch are lucky, there's no lock. The guy trains his a*s off. But if if Algeo takes his eye off the prize for one second, which he usually doesn't, but if he does show you put his lights out, you're betting on that. I'm going can put money on that, but I like both guys, but I just think I'll just that damn good. I'll take Algeo for this one. So I am taking all the gas and hubbard. I take my boy, Andre Petroski. I will take Chris Weidman. Clearly, we'll never bet against Chito Vera. I'll take you Machado, Gary. Sorry, Neil Magny and all the hired two boys. I'll take waylay and I'll take Algeo. The only dog I'm taking is Chris Weidman. And that's just because Chris Weidman, I'm not saying bad on that, but you never know. For a night of fights, though, man. Yeah, it'd be crazy if sugar wins, though. Be great. It'd be incredibly, it'd be insane. It's a tough task. Yeah, especially right now. I'll just frickin he's in his prime and it's his time. So all this goes. What do you got? All right. So the so there are some rumors about what the Pay-Per-View buys were for an Diaz was Jake Paul, and I think one of them was. I forgot about the title here, but so one of them was like four hundred fifty thousand people. That's right. That's not bad, right? That's phenomenal. And apparently, Nick Diaz, according to his manager, he made around 15 to 20 million in that great. That's insane. That's so great. That's more than they made for any of the qualified people were arguing like, Oh, but the UFC been the same now. He was again 20 million for the counter fight guarantee, was it? Yeah. So this is my thing with Jake, these guys what I hate on Jake. But look what he's doing for your favorite fighters. Look what he's doing. Nate would have never got this opportunity. Never. Especially he didn't take that much punishment, either, he made 20 mil and didn't really take any punishment, and then he's not only that he still looks cool in front of all the group's name. Like, kudos to kudos to Jake, man. Good for him. So you mentioned this earlier. We're going to talk about it. So the whole Stephen Thompson not getting paid for his show money. And then Dana White talked about, I think it was during the Contender Series he just mentioned, like, this is the process that we went through. Like, we try to give him another fight, right? He didn't wanna take the fight he would in the purse, a good chunk of the person, the other guy, Michelle, up here, and he didn't want to take another fight. So they tried to get him another fight. But he denied that. Hold on. That same night, they tried doing a different five. They're saying for another, maybe like a week or two later. Maybe he don't take that. I don't want to take it. And so Dana was like, That's a that's a half hour sort of $250000, right? So if he doesn't want to take our options at least $250000, I heard the argument. I'm like. It makes more sense. But he also said that they want to work with Stephen Thompson to pay for his camp or whatever, you know, but as far as not taking a fight or another fight. Yeah. As far as not, take another fight and get Dana's argument there. This is for the fighters, the managers, really. How in your contract do you not or do you not demand if we make way the opponent does it, we get our show money no matter what, how that's not in the contract is insane. I'm with you. That shouldn't even be up for debate. And if no matter what, whether we take a fight or not and whatever is 30 percent of the fighters purse, 10 percent, whatever it is. But we shouldn't be in this weird, awkward position where we have to save the card. And obviously, Wonderboy Thompson has bad history with this because he did this with their intel loss via split decision it ruined at 40 years old. You can see why I didn't want to do it. Now that being said this way, I side with Dan because he's like, Well, we did offer them fight like two weeks later. Clearly in-shape, made the wait, now made the wait. And I know people go. It's only three pounds, so three pounds are by far the worst part of the business. Those three pounds were at separate the the contenders from the the champions. That's what it is. Those three pounds are a nightmare for them to cut. It's everything. So when I got when you see a guy come in just three pounds over and you go, it's only three pounds. No, no, those three pounds won't drain your energy. That, yeah, that give you makes you a little skinny. Mitchell slower makes you exhausted. Those three pounds are the killer pounds. So the guys that are cutting weight like Wonderboy know like, no, those three pounds of everything weight this guy gave up and three pounds off. All that means is a rough cut. He just want to go through what I went through. So I'm not going to fight that day because three pounds of the toughest to get. He and he's given up and I went through it. Absolutely not. So it's smart. That being. But then remember what? One boy, I'm sure eight. Put on some weight and then I do again in two weeks. So you got two weeks and you get those horrible three pounds put on weight, then go back. It's just not the it's not the best way to do it. It's a nightmare, and I'll see doesn't understand that which I get, why would you? Because no way like that. But I will argue with Dan here. If you did offer him a good fight like two weeks later, which I assume it's the the injury fight undecided. That's what I assume. That's about two weeks after he'd want to do that. Danny, like, it's tough for me to pay the guy we've offered from. All right. You don't do that. We understood we are from a fight. A big name to declare it doesn't want to do that. What are we paying for? Yeah. He's like, Well, I am, which is one boy's argument and should be in the contract. Yeah, but I made wait. Maybe get anything went through a whole camp, so I get both sides. I didn't know one and boy turned down a fight two weeks later. I don't know either. If I'm dealing like we got to entice these guys to fight, if we just pay guys and they don't find out, what are we paying for? Yeah. But it also could be a case by case basis, too, because one two boys, I mean, everyone loves Wonder Boys. This guy's been a staple of your roster for how long? You know he's down to fight. He's just being smart. He's a businessman and he's like, Dude, I'm 40. I'm rank number seven in the world. I lose again. I'm screwed. There's no chance I get big fights at 40, so I got to be smart about this. You think they would understand that, you know? All right, let's give Michelle money. Also, it's not like you can't afford it. Again, this is case by case. I'm not saying Dana should do this every time, and it's up to the managers and the fighters get together and have this stipulation, the contracts. And if we make weight and we're ready, we don't have to pick a fight. We still get our show money. How that's on the contract is mind blowing. That's their fight. I'm not going to deal with that. But you would think and I get ideas like wolf guys just don't take fights and they keep falling out and we're screwed. So you don't want to encourage this. But when it comes to Wonder Boy, come on, man, it's wonderboy, baby. I know the nicest guy. Yeah. Plus, the two guys that frickin didn't make weight are some of the biggest guys in the division, too. Darren Till's enormous, massive and the gorilla. Yeah. Michelle Pierce. So when they don't meet again, those three pounds, it's every I go to the common person's like three pounds you work cut like fifteen. I know it's those last three that drain guys. It kills them. Those are the three hell pounds. Absolutely. All right. So. Logan Paul is supposed to fight Dylan Dennis in a boxing match. October 14th in Manchester. This one's interesting, you know, and I like both guys and Dillon Danis. You know, I do think he's a good person, you know, has his issues. The question here be, does Dylan show up, right? Because he kind of falls out from fights? There's a clause on that, too, apparently. Six figure pullout penalty if he fails to face Logan Paul. I mean, good luck in that money if he has it. But the other thing is these kids these days, man, like everything, Dylan Dennis is savage response that's so hardcore. Dylan Dance goes for Savage on Logan Paul speaks of fiancee with ex boyfriends and the picture like, dude, you would hate to see this about your ex girl. So who's the first one? He has a roster of. I think he's from One Direction, I think. And then there's obviously Leonardo DiCaprio, which is this not a bad picture? No film makes this one sucks. I hate watching this time. Who is that? I don't know. But it's an ex-boyfriend. I'm sure he's some sort of celebrity in some way. It seems she only goes for the I mean, she has the time, so I get it. Would you care for him? I don't think I mean, I've seen our past. But I mean, I want to see this picture of my ex-girlfriend. That would bother me. Yeah, I don't. I don't know if it bothered me that much of, you know, if you're low, I mean, I guess slogans on social media all the time. So maybe people are staggering with Senate terms. These programs sucks. Keep going. That one's the notion. That was it. That's all I saw. But I heard he got a cease and desist. I don't. I don't know how that works. Yeah, because now he's shown nude pictures. He even puts a picture with her with LeBron. Oh, really? Yeah. Yeah, he's the these kids. I'm tell you, man, there's no. There's no boundary. There's just when you play this game with the Logan Paul, Jake Paul's like that world. They don't come from the respect and s**t that I had back in the day. There's just gloves are off, dude. So when you sign up for this fight, get ready for these young kids. It's like when Dana was talking trash to Jake Paul, to this Lily. All he does, dude, he's going to light up, which he did. Yeah. It's just what they do. They have their black belt in it, you know? Yeah. Tough fight for Dylan. Yeah, you would assume because he doesn't really box, you know? But who knows? No, I think I think Logan Paul destroys. Yeah, maybe I think maybe, I don't know. Yeah, who knows? But that's an interesting fight that's coming up. Did you see this clip of so Anthony Joshua fight over the weekend that one guy we're talking about holds Alinsky skier ski whatever killed him? And then Conor McGregor was in the ring and gave him a pint of his stout? Joshua probably knows. It's like for advertising, yeah, but Conor just looks great. I don't know if Joshua drinks. Yeah, he didn't even want it. Looked like he didn't even want to be there with Connor, but he just like, I had to do it. I did. It was like, man with confidence. Yeah. It's kind of going bald a little bit. Yeah. Oh, wow, he's definitely like this little light up top. Yeah, that happens. Yeah, Connor does this thing, you know, he's just like a full blown salesman now, and he's just so funny to watch our son Casey to. I see every corner post. Casey likes every single post because it's so crazy. All their animals are so crazy. He's like me. Yeah. And to show some gratitude, I'm never telling you guys my my business again. So we knew this is going to happen pretty much. But it's official now is Israel sign vs. Sean Strickland. Ninety three. Love that fight. That it's not so much the style of the fight, like the actual fight. Hopefully, the only shame is there's not the build up. I think we're still going to get it because we're still what, three weeks out the three weeks September 9th. Yes, about three weeks. It's September, right? And how many weeks is that? If you brought up a calendar, I know I'm doing so one to three weeks, almost. No, it's four. No. So you have this week. One two four. Oh, no. Yeah, it's only Monday. So four weeks. Oh, you get build up, you know, strictly and bring that fire talk. I mean, it's going to be uncomfortable. The U.S. is all OK. Yeah. Then ESPN Disney's like, Oh, this is really the guy. Fine? It's like, Yeah, dude, comes with the fury. That's why we're ready for it. And you said if he does win, oh my God, that champion. Yeah, UFC is going to the sponsored like, Hey, man, we're just not going to work with you anymore. Just don't talk, which I like. I like when there's mayhem, you know, for these corporations, it's gonna be great. But you know, we'll get to it the week of the fight with stylistically nightmare for Strickland and across the board. But I'm more excited about the build up than I am the the actual fight. If they let Sean Strickland do his thing, I wonder if they try to put the shackles on Strickland and like that and do so much. But they're going to. I'm sure I'm sure people would tell him, like, Come on, just chill out. Good luck. They've tried his magic to win. You know, we've tried. It's just what he does. And that's one of the reasons you love Sean. Yeah, it's it's what's dope about it. Yeah. I can't wait for that buildup. Have you seen this footage of Jon Jones training with Gwen, right? No, I know they're training together. First team, all skinny legs. So both them, it looks pretty dope the way Jon Jones wrestles him. What do you think? No, I don't think they're going for go there, that was like a sure thing that was more for the cameras. OK. And it is from John Jones's Instagram stuff. Yeah, but that's a dope. John's working with him. Yeah. To fight to the best of the best man to goats going at it, definitely and and grappling to. So Tom Aspinall says he's going to be help Tyson Fury train for him. Why wouldn't he says I have no loyalties to Francis because he doesn't know. It's not like he doesn't. He just doesn't know. I think he's ever been. I don't get why this is even a headline. I know that headline is his fellow Englishman. It's helping fellow Englishman prepare. Yeah. For a fight. Did he have to have no law to France, why would you? Because they're both in the U.S. So there are U.S. alumni visiting podcasting and they're like, you know, they're just asking about it because they have no loyalty. He just he just means he's he's not friends with them. He doesn't. Never met him. Don, why would you? So your answers? He's fighting with his countrymen. Also, I don't know how Thomas smile helps Fury get ready for Francis. That's the main thing. I was thinking styles. And it's not. Yeah, he's not a boxer, necessarily. His brain is striking, but I'm saying I'm Tom can box. But as far as straight up fundamentals of boxing, Tom, try a more Chris boxer than Francis. He's just that power. I mean, if I'm pure, I should do my regular cap. Brilliant. Bring in some wild brawlers. The Tom Aspinall. Is his techniques almost too good? Oh, he needs a brawlers that's going to swing. Yeah, he's not going to sit back and try and pick you apart. To me, a brawl, you could bring in some big, heavy handed mo foes. Try and learn that shot, and you had to navigate it. Hmm. It's weird that even a headline. All right. Here's another one. So Fedor Emelianenko was on earlier show and they hour. And then he said that he would like to box Mike Tyson and he would like to do it under that same card. Well, oh gosh, Jeff Tyson was down because Tyson's already training practice. Yeah, but but Mike Tyson done like real fights, but he did, you know? I mean, they are actually the Roy Jones won't do it in federate, if they're like it's exhibition, he's like, Well, I can't try and take his hat off. Like, No, no, he's like, I'm not doing that. So Mike Tyson never agree to that. They put Jake Paul doubts Jake. But why would Jake Paul fight? I was just saying, How is this even a headline? I houses the fact that he wants to like, do this is already kind of trippy. Like the Mike Tyson one made sense yet to go. It's one of boxing one of May Fade or Mike Tyson. I love it. Two older dudes. If we knew it was a real fight, hell yeah. Take my money. But give me that weird like Roy Jones junior thing. Don't waste my time or your time doubts Jake Paul would want to fight them now that even a headliner question blows my mind. Yeah. So anyway, he wants to box Tyson. I think their age. No one really wants in anything. Yeah, yeah. So this is just a quick one. During the Joshua thing, he was a Conor was interviewed by I think it was a backlash. Someone. Anyway, he said that he's returning in December to fight Chandler. He's going to fight Chandler first, and then he's going to do the BMF belt with Justin H.I and then finish it off of the trilogy with Nate. Yeah, that'd be great. Great way to end your career. That's I think that's all those are, especially the Chandler fight. One hundred percent is happening. It's a big if he can win that fight the only way yet Gage is if you beat Shannon, otherwise that gate, it makes no sense. And then even if he were to lose both those fights, which I think is right and get the Chandler fight. But even if we do lose a challenge that Nate Diaz trilogy is not going anywhere, they can do that whenever the one that's up for the air would be great. You'd have to beat Jalen to fight JT. Otherwise, there's zero point to do it. I mean, yeah, you can't fight for the BMF title when you've won one fight and six years, honor his name. Yeah, so yeah. Anyway, so the rumors about you potentially fighting Derrick Lewis? All right. If he if he was able to leave the UFC, but apparently he's now signed a new eight five deal with UFC smart man. They don't just get good for everybody all around. Good for Derrick Lewis. Good for my health. Nice try. Nice try. Hooray ! So I saw that was coach at the votes to Eric Nixon. No, no, no, no. Derrick Lewis is coach. Yeah. Oh, Nixon's Francis. Yeah, I thought so. This is a story about Francis as well. I think it was the most recent fight that happened. There was fight night. They put this guy that had only Cameroonian fighter in UFC history. Yeah, the wrong cause. Francis was in the first, either. So could you? Yeah, so. So Francis posted this to so good you as a first and then Francis was a second again. How is UFC such a big corporation? How do you get the stuff he's thinking? They're doing it on purpose, though? I don't think so. I think you're you're giving too much credit. I just think I think you don't know the lay of the Land Africa and just royally f**ked up. And he thinks it's all personal. I don't think so because this is a knock on. So could you? I remember I saw like the video of like a promotion video from UFC, and they showed an Asian fighter, but they had it. His name was a different Asian fighter, but it was just, yeah, I mean, whatever they do, we just don't know. Yeah. Do you think whoever's making this stuff knows the lay of the land and Africa in which fighters from which country you're out of your mind? They should. Yeah, but you know you got young kids in there. I don't know UFC history, so everyone knows Sochi was the first one. So could you as a mother who is a badass in the very beginning, everybody knows a little bit. What do you say then? Say, You know what? He was a he was a killer in the beginning. I used to train with that rain monster. Yeah, physically, a monster monster there must monster the Reebok deal till when they started all the misspellings. And it was horrible. Yeah. Yeah. If you know you're doing this, this is fun. Yeah. So Craig Jones amazing B.J. Guy, he's going to be one of the best. Yeah, doing a match with. I think people are you surprised how good Luke Rockhold is at grappling? He's so good. He just over a dozen mm. And this is what Craig Craig Jones posted. Never in history combat sports of two dumps of this caliber locked horns of I've. I've often been told I need Jesus my life with an opportunity to hit Jerusalem in search of him. So that's why they're doing it up. They'll be fine. Yeah, it's a one. OK, so you posted this on your, I think, your Twitter or Instagram as well. Mm hmm. So Zuckerberg versus Elon Musk, Zuckerberg said that he's he's been trying like legitimately trying to get this fight done, but it seems like Elon Musk's just all talk. Yeah, I don't. I don't think it's happening. I said that from the jump. Yeah. So, Zach, but I think we can all agree on, is it serious and it's time to move on. I've offered a real date dinner way after to make this all come to for a charity. Ellen won't confirm a date and says you need surgery and asked to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If you can ever get serious about a real date and official that he knows how to reach me, otherwise don't to move on, I'm going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously. What's up with Jeff Bezos? Because I don't see Zach fight like, you know, legit fighters like Let's let's go for these big big boys was Bill Gates to I'd love to see him choked out. Bill Gates shady a*s. Yeah, but Bill Gates is no way in shape for that. But so with Alex Jones and Alex Jones, Zuck fight was an awesome wrestler, too. I think he was in high school or something like that. I don't think so. I think so. I don't think so, dude. Here's just an interesting one this a Dan hooker started getting tattoos recently. Yeah, it's all legs, right? Yeah. So this is this chess piece, and then his legs are pieces and turns. His legs are so dope, so jealous of those. The chess pieces. Interesting. Yeah. So intent, good work, though. And this is just a funny picture, as Alex Alex here on a ride, I think visited Disneyland shows no emotion I ever saw him pose. He's like, had a great time at whatever Disney World. That's his thing, right? Yeah. Yeah, I think that's it, did I do? So just a yeah, you know, that's it. Yup, enjoy your see two ninety two this Saturday in Boston, baby, you got a stacked main card on the good as well. The Ultimate Fighter finale.
