Christina, Kelly, up on the podcast right now. This is the earliest I think I've ever done my podcast. I like this time. It's it's early. Granted, I'm gonna say what time it is, and people are gonna be like, that's not that early. I'm gonna tell you why, though. I have never done a podcast this early. First of all, it's 10AM. The reason why, it's not because, like, I get to sleep in. Shut the f**k up. It's because morning times are the most chaotic time with children. Yeah. And if I'm I need to also put on my makeup, do my hair, get dressed before the whole podcasting thing. So there is no time to schedule an early podcast. Like, 10AM is the earliest possible time, but it feels kind of cray. Yeah. I think I left at 09:30 to get over here. So for me, I was, like, up at eight showering. Oh, you were up at eight? That's so cute. I I got up at six to shower early so that I could do it all before the kids got up. What what time do they get up? So Messer gets up anywhere between 06:15 and 07:15. Oh, listen. When I say 07:15, that's only happened, like, twice. Okay. But let me ask you this. Do you do you let him wake up, and does he ever just chill in his crib? This is an argument that me and Beau have twenty four seven. Okay. Because so Beau and I alternate mornings. Like, who's waking up with him? And, when it's Beau's morning, he waits until Messer cries. Yeah. Which drives me f**king crazy. Because my philosophy is I don't want to, like that's jarring for me in the morning to, like, get up, rush to my bathroom, put my contact solution, and then my contacts and, like, all of the things. And I'm hearing him cry, and it stresses me out. And I just feel like it starts the day off like s**tty. Like, who would wanna start if I was a little baby, I wouldn't wanna start my day off sobbing. You know what I mean? Well, so he like, he's he's crying or is he just saying, like Bo, wait till he's crying. Although, I had a talk with him and I said, I don't like that, especially because I tell Messer before he goes to bed every night because I put Messer down. And I tell him every night, you're gonna sleep a really long time. And if you wake up early, you're gonna lay in your crib and just relax. Don't throw your geeza, which is his blankie. Don't throw your choo choo. Don't scream or cry. So if Beau's waiting for him to cry, that means I lied to him. I lied to Messer the night before. And so that's gonna f**k him up forever. He might talk to his therapist about it one day. So now I'm like, Beau, we can't wait until he cries. We have to we have the second we hear, like, a little noise so I'll just I my body just, like, wakes up at six because I know it's about to happen. And sometimes if it's not my morning, I'll be able to, like, go back to sleep. But for the most part, I'll just get up and monitor until, like, I see him stand up and just, like, make a sound. Okay. But you do sort of let him he's awake and he's in there just chilling. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Because that's what we do. So, like, he how long does River just, like, chill in his crib? Oh, it could be, like, thirty minutes. He could lay there. That's a good amount of time. Yeah. And he just he and he doesn't cry. We would we don't ever let it go that. He's he lays there and just plays with his teddies and will just chill. That's really cute. And then I go in. I make the decision of, like, going in, but he's still laying down just, like, doing his thing. So you go in at, like, eight, eight thirty? Yeah. Sometimes he'll get up at maybe 07:30. I mean, it's not like 08:00 on the dot, but he gets up usually around eight. Seven like, between seven and eight, so sometimes 07:30. I want you to talk about what you're going through right now. I just feel like moms everywhere will be able to relate to kids. Talk more about this stuff because I feel like it's the things moms are like, I'm not gonna bring that up because I don't know if we're, like, ashamed or No. Yeah. We all make we all moms make poor decisions just to survive. I wouldn't call this a poor decision. But, yeah, we've gotten into I'll just say it. We've gotten into a bad habit of contact napping, which half of the audience probably does. And they it's so crazy, but do I need to say that he's almost two? He's he'll be two literally, like, in a week, in ten days. A lot of the moms listening probably have a very young child. They're like, I love the newborn snuggles or this is a two year old snuggle. So it's gotten a little hard and at some times when I have a lot of things to do, but I am very fortunate that I do have the time that I can just put aside and go, okay. This is gonna be our nap time. I'm gonna do things on my phone, emails. This I have so much that I can do with, like, running a business. I'm, like, doing customer service and everything. I wait until these naps because I know I'll have the time to do it. So it it has been beneficial. But No. Yeah. I hear I feel I hear that. Just to see, my my thing is, like, their nap time we're not there. Hartford hasn't nap till, like, years. His nap time is the only time, like, on days that Sonia is not here Yeah. Is the only time for us to do anything around the house. I hear you. I know. Yeah. Make a doctor's appointment. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Clean something. Organize something. Yeah. So sad. The only time. You don't have sex at night? I hate having sex at night. Yeah. Bo and I talk sorry. Yeah. No. But yeah. No. It's a what? Why are we talking about contact now? Absolutely. That's way more interesting. Why don't you like to have sex at night like every human being mostly on this planet? Wow. You got a wow from Lowe even. Lowe's even like Beau and I started therapy, couples therapy, like, few months a few months ago in trust, he brings this up in every single every single session. Because even the therapist will be like, that's interesting. Tell me more about that. Let's dive into that. And Beau's like, there we go. I'm gonna sits back. I'm gonna tell you why. And I'm I'm surprised that you don't feel this way. Okay? Okay. By the end of the day, I am so touched out, talked out, granted, like, you don't have to talk during sex, but, like, energied out, like, overstimulated. Stimulated. Like, I I don't wanna be touched. I wanna be alone. Like, I'm depleted, and so there is not one sexual impulse in me. If there ever is a sexual feeling in me, that's during the day. Before and before, the day has just made me so f**king exhausted. Okay. So this was something that happened? After kids. Okay. It I wasn't like this before. Okay. Yeah. Okay. That makes a little bit more sense. I get that. I get the overstimulated. I totally get when you put Mestra down, you walk out of the room and you're like I'm like, I'm done. I'm done. I just wanna melt. Yes. I wanna melt and watch. I don't want yes. I don't want I don't want my I don't wanna think. I don't wanna have I don't wanna have to do anything. I just wanna lay Yeah. I just wanna lay Yeah. Down. You know? Yeah. I don't wanna, like, muster like, and you know, for women, especially, like, you have to, like, your brain has to be there. You can't just, like, have sex. No. It's mental. You Unless you just unless you can. No. Unless you're just having you're not you don't wanna feel good and you're just Unless you're just yeah. For sure. Which is well, I that's a note. That's something I said to Beau. I was like, would you want me to fake it? Yeah. Would you would you prefer I fake it? Yeah. So this is just your life right now, honey. Like, this is just what it is. Unless you want me to fake it, this is what it is. Yeah. Daytime. Sexy time. Daytime's hard for me though. Well, clearly, because I'm contact napping. But even if I wasn't, I think that that I just midday just like, let's go. I don't know. That's not my mind's not there. Nighttime does just And it, like, starts your day off or, like, it's like it makes you have a better day. That's true. Morning sex. That's true. Well, I mean, morning, we don't get to do. Oh. It's like Hartford and Messer. There's that's not So, like, the rest of the day, half of the day. Yeah. So it's like the last half of the day, you're like, oh, in a good mood Yeah. And happy. It's like Yeah. Truly a win win because if you have sex at night, you're just happy for, like, a second, then you go to sleep and you wake up, start all over again with your miserable day. Okay. I could see this. Try it out. Well, if if, If you stopped So back to my contact napping in the past few days, I decided, okay. I'm gonna just put him in the crib. We're not gonna do any naps. And mind you, the contact naps happened because he was sick and he wasn't sleeping good for his naps. And I thought, oh, just let him sleep on me a little longer. And there he's amazing long naps. And I that rolled into the next day, and then it just kinda became a habit. And I so I'm trying to break that habit and put him in the crib, and he woke up. And I thought, okay. I need to be consistent with this. So, okay, he did not gonna have a nap today because he just sat up screaming mama Mhmm. For, like, ever. So I was like, okay. Scratch that nap. Next day, same thing. So he's basically just not taking to this well. How long oh, your nail color is good. You're gonna have to write that down for me. How long do you You've gone over this. This this one This is what I do myself at home. This is like Amazon. I get this on Okay. But write it down. I don't think you've ever told me the color. Yeah. It's the perfect nude. You say this every day. I have it linked. I have this linked on Instagram. Okay. I'll just go look it up on your Instagram myself. How long do you keep trying to get him down before you give up and just surrender and say, okay. No nap today. Because sometimes Beau and I will go back and forth trying for, like, an hour. And I'm like, wait. My son doesn't even nap an, like, an an hour if we're lucky during the day. He's on one nap. If we're lucky, it's an hour. Like, when you're telling me your contact napping and sometimes for two and a half hours, my kid has never come close to napping for two and a half hours. That's insane. And I've, like, set up I've had, like, a drink, like, my feet up. I mean, my chair, like, reclines all the way. Like, my rocking chair that we have, it, like, almost turns into a bed. So, like, I'm cozy too. So two and a half hours and I'm, like, on my phone. I've listened to podcasts. I've napped. Oh. So, like, I have created it this in the middle of the day too to have this, like, sound machine on, dark room. It's almost like a meditation where, like, busy day, busy morning, and then I go into the room and it's like, okay. Okay. Silence. No one's gonna interrupt me, and I'm doing emails and texting and getting back to people and Instagram and Honestly, Christina, I think you should keep contact. I need you to tell me this. That is sad and so relaxing. Like, if the way you're describing it, you're getting me time. Yeah. You're getting me time and your kid is napping. And what? Your kid only has, like, a year left of napping at the way. Earlier, and so you're making me feel better. And I'm like, I was, I was thinking it was the opposite because Max obviously is like, you need to this you gotta stop this habit. I think you need to stop the naps. So that's what made me go, okay. The past few days, we're gonna we're gonna break this habit, and it's not working. And he's just gotten so used to it that I'm now messing up bedtime. So it's not worked. He's not taking naps now, and now bedtime has always been beautiful, eight to eight. Goes to sleep, dreams like an angel. I think you should clarify that the bedtime always was easy Always easy. Where contact napping is. Always great. Yeah. Yeah. The contact naps and then bedtime was a dream. Right. Everything was great. And now he's, I think, in this, like, fight or flight mode where I'm like, I go to put him down for bed and he's like, she's gonna leave me, like, for nap time. Like, she she's gonna leave me in here and I don't know. He gets, like, super angry. He gets all worked up, and then he sits up, stands up. And the other night, I put him in, go into the bedroom. I look I turn on the camera, and he's sitting in his crib with his blanket over him like a little ghost just sitting in there. I know. I saw the screenshot and it is So I showed you. Crazy. It's like sitting there. It's spooky. He's not leaning against the crib. He's in the middle of the crib, blanket over him, sitting there. And then he starts to doze off because he's in there, it's like, for a while. And you see the little ghost go, and he's like moving. So I'm like, Max, when do I go in? When is the time, like because he's not crying. Right. So I'm like, when do I get he'll sort it out. He's gonna fall asleep. The blanket will fall off. He'll sort it out. I would have Max's mentality. I have such bad mom guilt because it was an hour. But, like, your your kid is technically fine. He's not crying. If he didn't like the blanket on him, he would pull it off. Yeah. But then when I went in, he was, like, sweaty. But maybe what if he's hot? So after an hour, I was like, I'm going in. I think this is I have to go in. Like, the mom in me was, like, screaming just like, he needs me. I'm gonna go in. Even though he wasn't crying. So I went in, and he was, like, sweaty from being under my blanket. I was like, oh my god. I'm such bad mom guilt right now. Yeah. And then he he it was just it was an awful night. He wouldn't fall asleep. He finally did. And then when I put him in the crib, it was, like, all over again. He woke up crying. Like, he's definitely just something shifted since I tried the no contact naps. So that's where I'm at. And I don't know what to do. This is the thing. I mean, I think contact napping first of all, whatever works for your family. Do you know what I mean? Like, that whatever works for your family is what you should be doing. So if you're someone who has the ability to do contact napping and it's not, like, derailing anything that you have to do during the day, like Of course, it is. But I'm just trying to find the positive. Like, I have so much stuff to do. But then I do a lot of it. Max kind of will take over and put things aside and say, I'll go take him for a few hours while you get this done, which is nice, but it's like, yeah, that nap time, you could always use that to do things. But if you're using it to Yeah. I guess you're right. Me time is so important. Me time, personal time is so important. So whether you're using it for that to just, like, listen to podcasts or do whatever it is to just, like, feel like yourself again, or if you're using it to work on your phone, like, sounds like you're being really productive and healthy. Like, I'm not joking. I needed to hear this. Okay. We're contact napping. Yeah. Have have there been any days where you're you have an appointment or something? Like, you're not home? You just schedule I just schedule. Appointment. Around. Oh, okay. I do the opposite of what problem parents do, and they usually schedule four nap time. And I do the opposite where I'm like, oh, no. Like, one from, like, 12:30 to, I don't know, 02:30, three. Yeah. I kinda don't think this is a problem. And it's literally only a year left of your life where you you're gonna be like this. You know? I really needed to hear this. And sometimes Bo does contact napping, again, because boys I I swear to god, it's a boy thing. That they can just, like, sit and and fall asleep. Like, Beau could literally walk in, sit in this chair, and just, like, fall asleep. Like, I don't know if it's a dad thing, a Beau thing. It's so f**king weird. I've never been able to sit to sleep sitting up. Your kid is just, like, sitting up sleeping. So, like, sometimes, Beau will do the contact app. If we are so desperate and we, like, have something that he needs to not be fussy for Yeah. Like Yeah. He'll do it. Yeah. But, like, if he does it one day, he can't do it the next day. Like, like, that's kind of our rule. Yeah. I messed things up. Now I feel like I totally was like, we gotta stop the contact naps because it yeah. It felt very, like, that's just not what you do. You don't you he's almost two. And so, you are a lot of people out there who co sleep. And that's another thing too where I'm actually surprised that I don't. I'm really surprised I don't do that. Just wait until he's old enough to get out of his bed and come in. Hartford comes into our room at around, like, four in the morning, half of the days of the week. Yeah. And today, she had a bloody nose that splattered all over my silk pillowcases. In the morning? She always has bloody noses. Yeah. Like, a lot. Is that is that okay? I I think so. I mean, I the doctor's like, it's just my kids get bloody noses. Like, it's just like a thing. I used to get bloody noses as a kid. I remember. She has allergies also. That's like crazy allergies. But I know it she Oh my god. Woke up and she went, Achoo. Oh, no. And it just was like Dexter. Yeah. You know, it was literally, like, blood splattered any everywhere. But, no, she comes in without fail, like, every other night. And so you you will start co sleeping whether you like it or not. I think I'd be better with that than starting off the night with a baby in bed. Correct. No. I could never do that. That I don't know how I mean, I'm they have probably their whole thing like I do with my contact. And I was like, well, no. This is how we do it. It's really great. But, yeah, I'm surprised I don't do that. But we, from day one, always had him in it. Well, we had the same doula. So and yeah. So but, like, I was very this is how it is from day one. I I actually never slept with him next to my bed. Me neither. So I'm this whole co sleeping nap thing is like, you know, whatever anyone wants to do, do it. I'm just saying could never f**king be me. I need alone time. Like, I need in order for me to be the best mom I can be Yeah. To function as a human being, I need alone time. I need to shut the door and not have anyone else in there. So, like, the thought of, like, co sleeping, what? That means there's never any alone time at all. Like, I just Yeah. Yeah. It's at night for a few hours. Well, listen. I kinda think you have life figured out right now. I don't think I hope that everyone listening that can relate just DM's you is like, girl, it's all good. I'm like, oh, thank you. I just needed to hear that. I I feel like you will they will. We all have different versions of, like, what our self care routine looks like. You know, some people like to refresh their body and minds with, like, meditation, aromatherapy, or, like, massages, manicures. Not me. No. My self care is, like, my bedroom and more specifically, my bed. And being in it and just, like, either scrolling on TikTok or watching a movie, but, like or a show. But, like, my bed needs to feel like a hotel bed. And sheets and bedding are, like, 90% of that. Like, yes, your mattress too. Like, duh. But, like, you want your sheets to feel silky, to feel, like, breathable. And I have used Boll and Branch sheets since before I met Beau. K? Like, my, like, linens closet, not that I have a separate one, but, like, the area in my closet is just filled with different colors and versions of Boll and Branch sheets because I haven't found another brand that beats it. Like, when I go and stay at a hotel, my god, these sheets are so comfortable. Not as comfortable as mine. Not as comfortable as mine. What are you watching right now? White Lotus is probably okay. Well, I can't talk about White Lotus because I'm waiting to binge it. There's three episodes out now. What's your what's like your like, do you start the whole the whole thing? Yeah. Because I just don't wanna have to be like I never wanna get Hold on. How many would you watch in a night? Probably two. Okay. But then what if I'm like, oh, I'm gonna stay up a little bit later and watch half of what I like the option of three. I like the option of, like, knowing that, like like like, if this happens to be a good episode, it's there. Yes. The for me to, like, keep going. So I just wait until the season's over, and then I'm gonna watch it. I sometimes appreciate a show more when I can't do that. Like Outlander? Yes. Yes. It was a great season. It really was. Did I not watch the last one? Of course. Okay. Well, you just looked at me like I was crazy. Well, because the ending for me was a little bit interesting. We didn't really talk about this, but, I don't wanna give anything away if people haven't watched it. Oh, if they haven't f**king watched it, first of all, no one listening even watches it. Does anyone actually watch Outlander? I don't know, but we already spoiled it with Georgie. Oh, okay. You talked about this? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The ending did you like the ending? f**k. Yeah. I did. I just was like, woah. This is I I sometimes people like they're grab they're just grabbing for, like, another season where they're like, how can we just keep this show going? So now they're like, oh, look. Her baby Yeah. That was her baby that she lost is now recarnated recarnated into It's not reincarnated. The baby never died. Are you joking? Are you kidding? That's not what they meant by that? No. The guy the No. But no. The guy took the baby. They did a flashback. So then what was the whole mommy would say this to me? Because her mom that that child that they, like, adopt in the end, her mom was Claire's daughter. Oh. Oh. Do you see what I thought? You thought reincarnation. The little girl. The little girl was her daughter. No. Her mom. But we still don't know how she remembered the song. I know. That's a little like, whoop baby remembers song. That's what I'm about to say is, like, even then, that's why I thought it was just, like, a, like, a part of I don't know. No. It's better. It's better. Oh. I'm just so into all of the time travel and, like, all the other people being able to time travel. Because you're you want to do that. f**k. Yes. That's fine. I know. I would They're like, you're vicariously living through these the Outlander characters. I'm like, ah. Yeah. Let's do that. Yep. Let's hop in and go back to, like, yeah. It's just so cool. Whereas, like, there were so many seasons in between where, like, there was really any time traveling. Like, I'm like, what the f**k? Like, where's the time travel? You know? And, like, we got so much of it this past season. Yeah. Isn't the next season the last one? Yeah. Yeah. They confirmed However, they have the prequel Right. Coming out. I have to say, I think I think we're we're good for one more season and that's it. I'm sorry. Shut up. The sex scenes from the beginning of Outlander to now are, like, tomorrow. You're not wrong. Sex changes as your relationship grows. Sometimes you don't wanna have sex at night, and so it's not always gonna be how it was in the beginning of the show. Wanna watch that? Do I wanna watch that? No. I wanna watch Stassi nighttime Stassi. Not, oh, I've had two kids and now I don't want no. I wanna watch I wanna watch if I'm going to bed and, like, I'm turning something on and I get to choose what it is, I'm gonna be like, I wanna watch Claire and I in the beginning of the come on. It's like, you can't even compare. No. I think And now when they're, like, making Love. No. It would be wrong. It's like No. It would be setting unrealistic expectations of what people who have been married for a long time are supposed to be like. I wanna skip past personal. No. I wanna skip past the sex scene sometimes now with them where I'm like, oh, and then Roger and no. No. I can't take this time. I like it's kinda just like, guys, let's think we're good for one more season and that's it. Like, we're we're unless they're gonna add some new, which it's they can't really. Right? Because it is based off a book. Yeah. It's based off a book. But he's like always I mean, are they gonna add in some new couple or some new situation? I stopped watching it for the sexy part of it a long time ago. And, like, I I was, like, that's fine. Like, this is obviously shifting. Now I watch it for other reasons. Whereas, like, in the beginning, it was like, woah. This is, like, so hot. Do you feel like they could have casted Roger better? Yeah. Roger's so great. Because she's so pretty and, like, her whole thing, she there was a great opportunity to go, okay. You guys are getting older. Let's shift let's shift the love scenes and all of that passion into this young new couple and then Rod insert Roger. What? Yeah. No. I know. I I yeah. And the Mohawk guy. Oh. I know. Don't even there we go. Another I wanna skip past them. That's sexy. That's worse. It's Where you're just like, no. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. K. Maybe the prequel will have really great young characters. The prequel people look hot. Well, I'm only thinking of the two girls. I don't know what the men who were cast in it look like. The two girls are beautiful. See, like, the passion of where you're, like, the giddiness of when, Claire why can't I remember his name? Jamie? Jamie. Claire and Jamie first met, you know, and that whole chemistry and, like, the passion, you're like, I gotta watch the next episode and see what happens. Now it's kinda like everybody's just in love and married and having kids and come on. Yeah. You know you know well, how do you say his name, Sam Heughanen? Heughan? Heughan? I think it's just Heughan. Heughan? You know, a friend of mine was, like, in a texting like, they, like, matched. Is this the is this the actor of The actor who plays Jamie? Jamie? And he likes Is he married? No. He's not married? No. He's like a he you can just tell. I read their texts. I saw the videos he said. He's a man of the town. He's a man of the town. Really? Yeah. Yeah. And then you can tell, like, he messages every girl this stuff. He was probably, like, descending mass texts that saying to your friend? I don't wanna, like, overstep. I don't wanna, like, say too much because Okay. Well, give me, like, a No. He's just, like, just If you met him, let's say you were single. If you met him, you I don't think you'd wanna date him. Like, he's just kind of, like, like, I don't know. Is he Irish? What is his Scottish? Yeah. Okay. Just kind of like Does he live in LA? Does he live here in LA? He does. He lives he does have a place here. Do I know the friend? I don't think so. I don't think so. Did they ever meet up? No. They didn't. Why? Because he had to go shoot something, and she was like, I'm not feeling it. And I don't watch Outlander, so I can't even appreciate how this is cool. I'm literally just messaging him for you. I don't believe that. No. She She's never seen Outlander. No. Even after he messaged her, she wasn't like I told her to go watch one episode. She watched the first episode, and she was like, it's good, but it's, like, not the type of thing I watch. Like, she doesn't watch period pieces and all that stuff. So, like, she just it wasn't her thing. So I'm like, you don't even realize with what you have That's insane. Right now. Like, it's so crazy. Like, just go over there and have sex with them and then be done with it. She's kind of older now though. It was it now, like, recently? It was like a I feel like a year and a half ago. It's also a two, like, they're all just getting older. Maybe even longer. I don't know. I'm I'm I'm definitely kinda getting over it. Okay. Well, you whatever. I disagree. I just completely disagree. I feel like there's, like, nothing else on TV except for the Meghan Markle show. Yeah. So I watched that last night. Wait. So I've only watched two episodes. By the time this podcast episode airs, I will obviously have watched every single one. I watched up until, she was making, like, a honey cake. How many she how many honey cakes did she make? One that was only the first Yeah. Wasn't that the first episode? Yeah. Oh, so you you watched fifteen minutes of the first episode? It was more than that. Wait. Did you She made she made well, in that fifteen minutes, she did beekeeping and made her own honey. She made her own candles. She made three cakes. She She made the homemade She made bath salts. Yeah. She did what else? Little bedside snacks. Uh-huh. Mhmm. And she made Pasta. She made pasta. Mhmm. Fifteen minutes, guys. Pasta and then, like, a little veggie board. Mhmm. Am I missing anything? Crudite. Crudite. She also, like, has fancy I think that's it. She has, like, fancy words. Like, I would never know these fancy words for things. Like, she knows the proper no. That's that was it. That's just a poor example of, like, I know that one at least, but she would say it about other things. And I'm like, what word is that? Like what? I can't tell you because I'd never heard of the word before. Okay. Like, I'd have to, like, go back and watch it and just, like, jot it down. I have I have lots of thoughts. I have a lot of thoughts, but I'm not sure they're gonna align with yours. That's fine. Okay. Everyone complaining about this because trust. Are people complaining about it? Yes. There's not one person out there being, like, this show is great. There's not one person, except I'm gonna tell you why, me. Okay? And I'm not just blindly following Meghan Markle because I see the cracks. I see where, like, things could be better. I think her social media is f**king weird. Okay? I've never been on it. Like, it's it it she needs some, like, social media guidance. I think she's stuck in, like, 02/2017 in the way that we used to post in 02/2017 and hasn't been able to, like, evolve past that, which, like, rightfully so. She went into the royal family and wasn't allowed to have social media, so she doesn't know how to get with the times. Fine. But everyone's complaining that this show feels so fake, out of touch, like, unrelatable. Good. That's exactly what I wanted. That is exactly what I wanted from an ex royal who lives in a giant estate in Montecito. I wanna watch a fairy tale. I wanna watch something unattainable, unrealistic that I could maybe one day, maybe maybe part of me imagine I could have, like, just a slice of, like, this elegance, this, like, type of lifestyle. Like, I'm not watching it to relate to it. I don't have a f**king, like, beehive. I don't f**king cook. I'm definitely not making anything when I have guests over to put next to their bed. Like, they're lucky if the sheets are clean. Like, you know, I'm not doing any of this f**king s**t. Like and I love it because I'm like, I cannot relate to it, but, like, I'm not gonna ever relate to someone who was a duchess. Like, no s**t. I'm watching it like like going to Disneyland. It's like, it's a fantasy. It's fun. Leave all of your stress behind when you go to Disneyland. When you go to Disneyland, when you walk through those part like, those doors or whatever, the gates, all everything that sucks in your life or that you're worried or stressed about goes the f**k away, and that's how I felt watching her show. So, like, let it be what it is. We don't need to relate to it. Why does everyone need to relate to everything? Are you done? I think. I think. Okay. What did you think? I didn't know a lot of there was, like, backlash. I've that didn't know. Just turned it on, saw it, went, oh, I'm gonna watch this. Okay? I don't have that much of an opinion of her. I tried listening to her podcast a few times, and I had Yeah. It wasn't great. Had to shut it off. That's okay. I can even I don't follow her on Instagram, but I don't have this, like, crazy I don't like I love her, and I don't not like her. Don't have really an opinion. Right. So I turn this on. And for someone also who loves eats this, like, perfection, like, I love perfection. I love chariings. Things that are all of that. But I think the problem with her doing it is it doesn't feel authentic. Like, she doesn't it doesn't feel like she wakes up and actually does these things. If Kate Middleton had this show, I'd be like, yes. She does this. Yeah. Her handwriting did you see her handwriting on the tags? Yeah. She's a calligraphy right. She does calligraphy. I just can't. I don't know why everything is like, yeah. Of course, she does. What? Everyone's known that. But I just feel like it's scripted. It doesn't feel like she these are her ideas, and it it just doesn't feel She makes that clear. She goes, I have never made candles before. This is my first time. I'm testing. I'm trying this out because we just got this Okay. But then I I think then then there should be more realness in why people aren't it's fine if you can't relate to wealth and, yeah, getting your own beeswax from your own beehive. But I think that in all of that, you can have humor. And she tries to be funny, but that's the thing. And when I'm watching it, it's like she's trying to be funny or she's trying to be relatable, and it's not coming across that in any way. And, I just think that's who she is. I think she's a not I think she's a deeply unfunny person by nature. Then maybe she shouldn't have a TV show because it's gonna just fall flat. People who don't have even Martha Stewart's funnier than her. She wasn't back in the day. But I have an argument for that. She was an expert. So she was actually teaching you stuff. That was the reason you felt that. Yeah. Felt that you were watching it. And she was in her actual home doing it. That I was Whereas this, I'm, like, looking around and I'm like, this is all staged, like, a whole a production. Which was awkward. Yeah. And it just felt like I would've it would've been cool to have it in, like, your kitchen. Like, that why not, though? What would've been the problem with that? It would've felt too personal, and that's the problem, Megan. You're trying to make it seem so personal. You're taking us out to your beehives, and you're showing us what you put on the bedside for your guests. But it's like, okay. Well, do that in your kitchen. We'd love to see I wanna see I'm building a house right now. What kind of faucets you have? I wanna know. That's an excellent You know what I mean? That's an excellent point, and I agree with you. I would have preferred And this to be in her own home. Also, like, kept sort of how she keeps her kitchen, really, though. And you could see it. You can tell when things are staged. Even if she had it in her own kitchen, you could see, like, oh, they put all those French, like, nice things. And it's like, no. She could should've kept out a couple cute little personal things, and then we would've felt more like, okay. This is cool. No. She was, like, in a staged little farmhouse. Everything was perfect. It just it felt too over the top. And I get what you were saying. I do wanna trust me. I get that. Curated. I love that. But I there was just something that lost me. And I think also the way she speaks is so calculated, I think. It's like I feel like she talks like that in real life. I really feel like this is who she is. I don't think she's trying to be something that she's not. I think that that she's just kind of awkward and, like, earnest and just, like, yeah. Like, I think that's just, like, who she is. I thought that she was better with Mindy Kaling. Like, she needs someone funny and a little crass to, like, let to let her relax to make her relax a a little. Like, her first guest, like, her makeup artist Yeah. That's what I want. Friend. I just don't feel like he was like, he was funny, but, like, he wasn't mean, he's not Mindy Kaling. He's not, like, a comedian. So, like, she couldn't, like, fully relax, you know? And do you think in any of these scenes, there was, like, an uh-oh where she's, like, burnt the cake or they spilled the beeswax, which they did a little bit, but they didn't even make a thing of it. She just wiped it. Like, do you think there was an all of this, there had to have been moments where it was like, oh, s**t. The promo that was an uh-oh where they were flipping a pan of pot stickers and it it didn't flip right, I felt like it was made up. Right. They probably were like, we need to add some, like Some excitement. Because she, like, takes the perfectly cooked out of the oven. She's like, oh, those look nice. And it just feels like I I don't know how to explain it. It just doesn't and I hey. I sit down and wanna watch things that I don't relate to all the time. Yeah. Like, that's what you wanna do. Again, after you put the kids down, you wanna melt and you just wanna be like Yeah. But there's something about the Max was next to me doing something else, and this I had the laptop on my compute on my lap. And he kinda caught a couple moments, and he was like, what are you watching? And I was like, it's Meghan Markle. And he's like, why is she Merkel. Or what's I'm saying? Meghan Markle. Markle. See, this is how much I don't really know of her. So I'm this opinion is very like, I don't this is no other opinion. Like, I don't read articles and see what people are saying. Max was like, why is she talk so annoying? And I was like I looked over at him and I went Megan? No. But right? Like, it's soft and She's like a Disney prince a Disney princess. It's like it's a it's a Disney princess voice. It's like because they have, like, inflect They're, like, basically, an inflection. I don't know. I just And also, I think people have a problem because, like, she wasn't born royal and, like, I think there's the thing where she was, like, an actress in LA and then now all of a sudden she's, like, was, like, part of the royal family and now she's not. And so Well, when she talked about being raised on TV dinners and fast food and named a lot of them, that was the the point that I most related to her. She said that on the show. She was like, El Pollo Loco. She said, that's what I lived off of. Because she and a single mom and, like, I was like, there we go. Great. Yeah. So I maybe didn't I didn't see those parts yet. But I did see a promo with with Mindy whatever. Mindy Gary. And did she did she correct her when she Yes. She said to say her last name? Yes. So I sorry. I can't. Where she was like and then Mindy goes, okay. Well, now have we got that straightened out, right, or something? It's like, so her name is Megan Sussex. Her name is Megan which that's she gets to have a last name. I don't know why people are so like, oh, she's changing it to Sussex. Yeah. Because that's Carrie's last name, and she married him, and those are her kids' last names. She should have corrected her off screen. Yes. Listen. Listen. If if someone you were doing this, and someone said Stassi Schroeder, and you went, Stassi Schroeder Clark. Oh, so it was a same fella. I thought the bit bit was on purpose. Oh, I I thought it was a move so that, like, people could finally understand what her last name was. It didn't it made her didn't make her look good. They should have figured out a different move to do because that did not make her it made her look like I'm a Sussex, so, like, say it and, like, make sure you don't mess that up again. I would have been like, I don't she didn't say it. I don't care. And then is her Instagram Megan Sussex? I no. I don't know, actually. I know it's just at Megan. Okay. Well, babe, why don't we put that name out there a little more so people can hear it and, like No. I get it. Listen. I just think if it was anyone else doing a show like this, we wouldn't be so, like, picking it apart the way that She's everybody is. Like, you don't you don't have to like her. You don't have to like everything that she's doing. Like, I absolutely am not putting together gift bags with, like, mini weapons in them for kids to take home. Like, that's, like, what I that was in episode two. Like, it's it was, like, things to me, like, shovels and, like, a pitchforky, like, f**king thing. Garden party. If you gave those to my kids as a gift, like, a a gift bag from a party Yes. They would be cutting each other up Oh my god. In the back of the car all the way home. Like, cuts everywhere, fingers cut off, whatever. Like, the weapons, even if it's plastic, they'd be finding a way to hurt each other. So, like, that's not ideal. I did not like how in the first episode, when she makes the pasta, there's this one comment that I'm like, don't get triggered. Don't be one of those moms. Don't be one of those psycho moms that gets triggered. This isn't about you. She puts them in in their lunch. She puts this for their lunch. She goes she puts, like, the pasta in the pan and she goes, this is what I make for my kids and my husband all the time. She's like, but they don't eat, like, they don't eat heaps of pasta. Like, I make sure to, like, balance it in their lunches. And I'm like, my kids only eat pasta. Like, if they don't don't eat pasta, they're not surviving because I can't make them eat. But also also, like, not even but not that pasta. Like, she's like, they love this pasta. I'm like, my River would never eat that. But do you think her kids actually eat that? That's what I mean. Do you think I won't know. Megan? I don't know. Is there a lot of things that Megan is it yeah. Like because, like, at the tea party and all that stuff, they were like, our kids would love this. I'm like, my kids wouldn't? They would never eat that ladybug cracker or, like, that ladybug f**king caprese. It's like, it doesn't matter that it looks like a ladybug. Hartford's not touching it. Like, she's not See, I guess everyone wants a little bit of that. We wanna see that side because there's no way, yeah, the kids there's just I'm sorry. But, like, I love I enjoyed every single moment of cooking up and going, you know, I love making this for my my my family even though my kids never wanna eat it. If she would've just added that little bit in Yeah. And then continued on in her perfect kitchen, there would have been some kind of fun. For sure. So I think maybe editing and she needs a little bit more guidance as far as, like, the producers saying like, hey, change who you are. You're coming off too perfect. Listen. All I know is that as I was watching it, I felt joy. I felt I felt entertained. I felt I felt inspired. I felt inspired too. I was like, should I start cooking? I'm gonna make a rainbow fruit plate, and I'm gonna go on Amazon and buy edible flower sprinkles. Like, I was inspired. No. The beeswax candles, I was like, yeah. I know how to do I've I've made candles. I know how to do that. And there are many moments where I was like, I wish, and I wish I could have a beehive and fresh honey. Like, I wish that but yeah. Do I wanna make, like, a honey lemon cake? Yeah. I do. But it's not it's not about the content. I think everything's really cool. I think watching the beehives and what she's doing with all of it, like, all that's cool. That's cool. I just think it could have been maybe in her kitchen, not a stage kitchen. Everything didn't need to look so perfect behind her. And she could have just been a little more relatable with how she was, like, talking about things in this. I didn't know she talked about fast food and stuff, but I She also bought her pants at Zara. Oh, she yes. That was the other relatable Yeah. Moment. But maybe you're right. Maybe it's her delivery and how she just that's just actually how she is. I think it is. And also, you have to think about I under like, yes, we would all really love to see her do this in her own home, but you have to, like, think of who she is and how she is just every single move she makes is shredded. It's ripped apart. It's dissected. Anytime she's on a Zoom, people zoom into, like, the background and, like, literally pick apart anything that's in her house. So imagine being like, yeah, I'll let a whole entire crew into my house and let the world see my house, like, after I've just been I'm I'm just constantly tortured online. That's like that's like being on a reality show and going, why are people, you know, picking up you chose but you you wanted them to film you wanted to do a show. Like, you wanted to be a part of this show. But, like, I understand her drawing really had this idea. Yeah. So then it's like And also that's like a whole that's days and days and days of your kids not being able to use your kitchen. But I'm sure she doesn't have one, like okay. We didn't need the main kitchen. Like, give us, like Oh, yeah. She probably has two. Give us your cottage kitchen. Like That's a really good point. So we didn't maybe need to see that one that, like, yeah, the kids are in, but there's she lives in a crazy Montecito right there for me. Has two kitchens. She's got more than two kitchens. Let's so we could've we could've just taken one. Okay. That's that's fair. I think my biggest takeaway though was, like, I don't think Meghan Markle would like me. I'm like, it's so crazy how I can be such a fan of someone who I have nothing in common with. Literally nothing. I don't know what we would talk about if we ever got around each other. And I think maybe that's why I like her so much because she's like everything I'm not and I kinda wish I was. Well, when did you first sort of sort of fall in love with her? Was it when she started dating Harry. I didn't know who she was before. Okay. And I think part of it for you was her style, which I loved. She was doing a lot of press and with him I love her style. Impeccable. Like, her style, her coats, her hair, her makeup, everything was perfect. I also loved the Cinderella story aspect of, like, everything that happened. I'm like, wow. Me too. I like that. Dreams come true. Like, the the impossible does happen. Yeah. And it just, like, it's such, like, a heartwarming story. They truly they seem like they're truly in love. Yeah. And he's so proud of her. Like, I saw an interview where he, she went to, like she was talking to someone Spanish and then he said, oh, she speaks Spanish. And she kinda giggled and was like, oh. And then he's, like, started speaking Spanish and she's fluent speaking. And you could tell he's so proud of her. Like, he wants her to show her skills, and that's really sweet. I think they dread genuinely have, like, a really good solid relationship. I do feel bad. I don't wanna feel like I'm being a mean girl about Megan. It's just my true honest opinion of the show. I love the content. I just wish and that's not maybe that's not a me. I just wanna see more of her. Like, I'm so interested. Like, I really wanna know more of you. But if you truly feel like she wakes up and goes to bed like that I kinda feel like she does. I kinda feel like she does these things all the time. What else do you do in Montecito? You know? But you I I guess so she's just not funny. Maybe that's my I yeah. I just think she's not for everyone. But, like, she literally, we have nothing in common. Nothing in common. And, again, I think that's why I like her because I'm like, oh, I wish I could be more like you. I wish I could just be, like, a little more perfect. I'm so much rougher. You know? You would tone it down if you met her. No. I wouldn't. I have to be me. You know? She it's like I asked you earlier. I was like, do you follow Nora Smith? Oh, yeah. Like, people are always so f**king, like, getting angry at Nora Smith, and I love her. I love to follow her. And I'm like, she's just like, so like, she You gotta gives that vibe. They have the same they have the same thing going on. But, like, Nara Smith, I think, is just, like, fully in on the joke. Yes. I agree. I think now even yeah. You know? For people who don't know who she is, she's an influencer who makes food for her family, but she looks like a supermodel and dresses in supermodel high fashion clothes. Hold on. There's more to it. She married a super male supermodel Oh, I didn't know that. Named Lucky Bluesmith. Okay. And then she had three babies with him, like, back to back. She's super young. I think she's like she's really young. He's young. And, they named the first baby I might get this wrong, the order, but, like, one of them is named Rumble. Okay. The little boy's name is Slim Easy. I didn't know that. And their last little girl Oh, I might have to look it up. Lo, will you look it up? Oh my god. Slim easy? Slim easy. Rumble I think Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, and then there's one other one they just she just had. Whimsy. Whimsy. That. Whimsy Lou. That's kinda cute. Whimsy Lou. Yeah. Whimsy Lou. Right? Rumble, honey. And Slim Easy. Slim Easy. Rumble and Slim have gotta go. But Whimsy is kinda cute. Honey is a girl. Yeah. Rumble's a girl. Oh. Yeah. Okay. So that just gives you the backstory of her. Yeah. And then she got really famous on Instagram because she started cooking And TikTok. Yeah. Ridiculous things, like and she does the voiceovers, and she go, my kids wanted homemade my kids wanted cereal. So I made homemade, but I don't wanna yeah. So she's like, so I made them homemade homemade Fruity Pebbles, and she literally f**king makes makes And then she shows you the whole step. But not only does she show you the whole step, she's showing you in, like, a crazy couture outfit. And My husband was really craving a battered, like No. Bubblegum. Bubblegum. My, like, sister-in-law loves bubblegum, so we're gonna make homemade bubblegum. And she makes bubblegum. Yeah. Do you guys know how old she is? She's, like, 21. She's 23. See? Crazy. Three kids. Three kids. No. I And they're, like, like, probably, like, four. She got married when she was 20. Yeah. No. My favorite one is she is she's like, I was she's like, I really was craving a whatever for a midnight snack, so I decided to just get up, go into the kitchen, and makes full blown Thanksgiving feast. And I'm like, you're midnight f**king snack. She says, this is so quick and easy. Yeah. And nothing is ever quick and easy. It's like it's like homemade bone broth with, like, this and that. She's like, you can make this so quick. I love it. I think it's so funny and, like, so entertaining. And also, she'll be like, my kids love, and it'll be something River would never tell. River would never tell. Ever, ever, ever, ever. And she's like, they love this for a snack. And I'm like, no, they don't. There's no way. You know what? That's the thing about mom influencers that I wish would be more honest about. That's the only thing I want I want my kids to be. A day? About what do your kids actually eat in a day? Because I feel so I don't cook. Beau does. And I feel so bad for him because, like, he spends time looking up new things to make for the kids, like, to get all of the f**king, you know, vitamins in, like, have things be balanced. And no matter what chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets, dino dino ones, dinosaur or the name or the letters, and pasta. Ones. And pasta. It's like that's all Hartford will Hartford won't even try things. She wouldn't even try. No. But wait. I didn't Hartford eat, sushi? Doesn't she eat sushi? Because we kept her up because so the only reason she eats sushi is because she gets to stay up later with us and feel like an adult because Beau and I will order sushi after we put Messer down. And so Hartford feels like she's one of, like, the adults. So she forces herself to, like, eat the sushi, and she'll only eat, like, the things she likes. Wasn't there a salad she ate too? Because I eat the salads at night. So it's like when she feels like she can stay up late and be with us, then she'll eat whatever. Do you sit down and eat with the kids? Sometimes we do mostly. I I normally like to eat separately because I like to enjoy my cooking. Forward? Yeah. It's like I I want it says my Max is like, why don't you, like, sit and eat, which I wanna start doing because I think that will help eating wise. Because if they see us eating it, then they wanna eat it. But a lot of times, it's just easier to just give him his dinner. And then once he goes to bed, I can, like, make my yummy food, watch my my show, shower, do my thing, and, like And fully enjoy what I'm eating Yeah. Instead of, like, screaming in my ear and I'm just shoveling s**t in my mouth. Like, that's not fun for me. Yeah. That's not fun for me. But they do say that helps with them, what you just said. Like, oh, you're eating the sushi. But, yeah, Nora Smith is, But I need her to I need her to tell us. I need everyone to tell us. I need Megan to tell us. Does Archie and Lilibet, do they eat that s**t? I need Nora to tell us, do your kids, does Rumble eat that s**t? Like, I wanna know. And, like, if they are, how? The way Skims has kind of, like, taken over the world. Like, I kind of don't know anyone who doesn't the t shirt bras, I wear twenty four seven. Like, so comfortable. Like, you know, just, like, wires. I can't. I can't anymore. I also like their pajama pants. Like, I live in all the time, and I have, like, multiple in every single color. So, like, I am always, like, going on SKIMS for different things, but they just recently came out with the fits everybody underwear. And, k, game changer. Game changer because there is nothing worse than underwear that just, like, digs into your skin, like, into your, like, hips, like, and then you feel your skin over it. Like, no. With the Fits Everybody collection, it is so stretchy. It's so soft. It kind of just melts onto your body and your skin so you feel like you're not even wearing underwear. Basically, I have to throw all my old underwear out and just, like, go commit to this. The Fits Everybody collection is available in sizes x x s to four x, and you can shop now at skims.com and Skims stores. After you place your order, be sure to let them know I sent you. So select podcast in the survey and be sure to select my show in the drop down menu that follows. Okay. We all have different hair goals. Some of us wanna grow it out. Some of us are trying to just, like, heal what we already have or damaged hair. I personally I've said this a million times. I am trying to maintain what I have. I am hashtag grateful for what I have right now, and I just wanna maintain it. And the first, like, start with, like, any hair goal is to have a healthy scalp, which whey products, they get to the root of that. They are all about scalp care. I have been so into whey products for years. I'm just gonna, like, talk about a few of or a couple of my favorite ones. The detox shampoo, that the name just there. It does exactly that. So, like, if you have oiliness or unwanted shine or, like, even a flaky dry scalp or you just get product buildup, like dry shampoo, hairspray, like, mousses, like, all of the things that we put in our hair. The detox shampoo just like it feels like it's giving your hair an absolute reset. One of my other favorites is the leave in conditioner. I have them all around the house because I also use them on Hartford, and it smells so good that it, like, doubles as a perfume. Not joking. So, like, instead of, using conditioner on your hair in the shower or the bath, you just spray it afterwards and your hair, it's, like, so easy to comb through. It's so soft. It feels so silky. I just love it. So the way to a healthy scalp starts here. Go to the0uai.com and use code Stassi for 15% off any product. That's the0uai.com code Stassi. No. River's getting pickier too. He's getting he's almost two, and that's kind of that age where they start to, like, no. They're like, no. I know. And I'm like, you used to love this. You used to eat this. No. So I'm hanging on to certain foods that he really likes. I'm like, okay. Like, avocado, cauliflower. There's certain things that I know he I'm like, please don't stop eating this. He may Otherwise, it may yeah. We may get down to, like Have you ever given him mac and cheese? Yeah. He Don't do it again. Once once they remember mac and cheese, there's there's no turning back. Weirdly though, he didn't really love I don't know. What shape do you do? All of them because my kids love mac and cheese. I gave him the little shell ones and he didn't seem to, like, really love it. You know what he loves? And it's so, Great White Cafe has a bolognese. He's obsessed with. I try to make bolognese little kid. I know Wilmax works for them, so he brings it home a lot. But I've tried to, like, replicate my own, like, oh, I'm gonna make a pasta sauce and no. Obsessed. I mean, like, devours. He could eat the whole bowl. Do you can you postmates Great White? Probably. Yeah. There's one on Larchmont. Why the f**k have I never thought of that? Because I've never had one bad thing at Great White. It's so good. Like, they're opening one in Brentwood. They're so good. They're opening a ton, but it's I love their food. Love. Jones on Third has a good bolognese too. A sauce that you can buy in the I bought that. It's so good. I love it. Made it for him. Really? I love that one. You're I that one's so bomb. Mhmm. Yeah. Maybe it's the shaped noodles. I need to get something similar like they have. But there you go. Picky little guy. Interesting. Yeah. Feeding the kids is my least part of but it's my least favorite part of being a parent. So I'm grateful that I don't really have to do it. I've I've read this once where it was like, if your kid doesn't have a big dinner, think about what they had the whole day as a whole. Like, if they had a good breakfast or they had, like, a good this, that, and just be okay with that. Like, don't feel like they're gonna go to bed hungry. Think of the whole day as a whole as what they ate. I like that idea. It's just I don't I feel like Master's still baby ish enough for me to be like, wait, but he won't sleep the whole night. Is that true? But, like, I don't know. Maybe he's old enough to where it doesn't matter. I think he's getting there, but do you do milk or anything before he goes to bed? I give him a little bit of milk. Yes. So then you're good. Because that's always thing too. It's like, well, he gets a little bit of milk. Yeah. God, you know, being a parent really is hard. It's the best thing ever. It really is hard, though. It is the best thing ever. It's absolute if it wasn't the best thing ever, no one would f**king do it. If it wasn't the best thing ever, no one would be doing it because it is so hard. I was at the park yesterday, and this dad was there with a little boy the same age as River. And, we just started chatting, and he said, oh, we just we have a five week old at home. I went, oh my gosh. Congratulations. And he just looked at me like, a lot. And I was like, okay. Yeah. We just have the one. And he looked at me and went just kinda gave me this nod, like, don't do it. And I was like, it's okay. He's like, you can vent. I won't tell your wife. And he started laughing. He's like, it's a lot. He's like, we thought maybe having them closer in age, like, would be easier because they could just they'll play better and It will in the long run. Drop off will be better. And he's like, it's really hard. And, I wouldn't recommend it. And I was like, oh my god. That's Wow. I really appreciate your honesty. That's so funny. I was like, I might be one and done. So I think there's something to be said for one and done, but then there's also something to be said. Like, right now, in my brain, like, f**k no. I can't have more kids. Like, we could barely handle what we have now. Like and but I know that, like, of in a few years, I'm gonna feel that that feeling of wanting to have another. And then I think of, like, how full this house is, like, in the best way possible. Like, having these two kids in the house as, like, overwhelming as it is at times, it's, like, so there's, like, no greater feeling. Mhmm. And I'm, like, imagine another personality in here. Like, just another personality to, like, fill this house or any house, you know. Like, it's so beautiful. But one and done is kind of totally brill. I'm not joking. Like, I really feel I feel that in my bones that, like, people who are just like, yeah, I have one and now I'm gonna continue on with my life and live my best life. People are so, like, taken back by it though when I tell them, I think I'm just gonna have one. They're like because right now, obviously, the everyone's like, when are you having another? That's like the question that comes up. And I'm like, when my answer is, I think I'm just having one, they're like, no. I mean, strangers will be like, you have to give him a sibling. Yeah. You have to. And I'm just like, what? Becoming way popular to only have one. I feel like the like In this economy, two children? Oh, that's true. Like Like, kids are so In LA? In LA? Kids are so f**king expensive. They are so expensive. Yeah. So, like, yeah. Yeah. So, I mean, yeah. For me, it's it's yeah. It's definitely about just also yeah. We're just having a lot of fun right now, and I feel like that's usually when you start to go, let's have another. Right? And things get easier. And I'm like, but I don't like, I wanna just continue having fun with him, and we have such a good thing going that I'm just like, let's ride this out. And, yeah, maybe one day years from now, I'll be like, let's have another when he's older and in school, but we'll see right now. Wanna do it all over again? I love being pregnant and all of it. So yeah. Sorry. I didn't hate it. I see pregnant people and I'm like, ugh. Really? Yeah. No. I don't feel that way. I we all knew I was gonna be that young person. Like, you were like You're a triple Virgo. I I enjoyed every second of it. I know. Every time but I had a really easy I didn't get sick. I was No. I had an I had two easy pregnancies. You had pretty I think at the end, we all get a little, like, woof, like, we're big and swollen, but that's normal. I mean, we have a cute human being growing inside of us. But you you've had great deliveries and pregnancies. That's probably why you maybe wanna have a third too is because that's all No. No. I haven't experience I haven't experienced anything traumatic. So, like, that's yeah. I mean, Messer was born in Literally a minute. He, like, slid out. No. Literally, it was, like, 40 I thought I my unicorn birth with River was crazy, just how fast and smooth everything was. But then he told me of yours, I was like, one push. That's crazy. It was so anticlimactic. I was literally like, what do you mean he's just there? But when I looked at each other, like, look at my vagina. Do I have a big vagina? Do I have a big vagina? Because my baby slid out of it. So you didn't have that moment, Rothbart, like, legs up going Oh, Oh, it was like the second Rothbart sat down. Like, breathe, push. No. You didn't have that? They pulled my legs up and they're like, okay, push. And he came out. But did you but did you do the kinda push where it's like knees up to your chest, like, push? Yeah. I did one. Okay. Okay. I just listened to him. He literally laid there and, like, nobody I asked no. I asked Rothbart. Our Rothbart is our our doctor. I asked him afterwards. I go, if I would have waited longer, could I have laughed him out? Because the nurses didn't believe me when I was like, no. I'm feeling pressure. I feel like the baby is coming. Like, the baby is coming. And they're like, no. It's too soon. You just got here. Like, you just got to the hospital. And I'm like, no, ma'am. Can you please just, like, check? Like, I really feel like he's coming. And then they opened up the sheet because I had, like, the bounce ball in between my legs, and they were like, you're right. Yes. Like, okay. And I was like, I told you. Like, I told you. And so I'm like, if I would I asked Rothbart. If I would've waited longer and not have been, like, asking them to to check again, could I have laughed him out? And he's like, yeah. Technically. I'm like, that's hilarious. You're lucky he was there. Because a lot of with me and I heard a lot of times, it's like that there's a midwife and, like, the doc your actual doctor doesn't show up till it's, like, real pushing time. And for me, I had to I was ready to push and we had to wait, like, he was coming. Like, he was, like, on his way. Yeah. Yeah. So I had to hold off. Like, they were like, don't push. Lucky she didn't sneeze in the car. So On the way for Yeah. For real. And he, like, like, I feel like the reason why Messer is so cute is because he was pretty much in his in the amniotic sac. Like, he, like, came out pretty they had at the last minute before he slipped out, that's when they broke my water. So That's so cute. He never got his face smooshed. But the the percentage of births, it's called something, that happened that this is so rare. Right? Did they tell you that? No. To have your baby born in the sack is like Well, I mean, he he didn't the sack didn't come out. It would have if they didn't cut it. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think I remember Talitha telling me how incredibly rare and she's only seen, like, one of those. Wonder I I'd like some information on that, but I'm pretty sure that's why my baby looks like a supermodel. His his face didn't get all River. Protected. It was just he was in a little bubble being protected. River had a little cone head from pushing. You know, that's like normal. And I I just never mentioned to Max that that's something can that can happen in birth. I just never thought we talked about a lot of things, but I never said, hey, just so you know, sometimes when a baby comes out from pushing their head so soft, it does like it it turns into a little cone head. Yeah. And River had that because I pushed pretty quickly. And I think too because he was sitting in the birth canal because we were waiting for Rothbart that it and then it pushed out. It happened. But I pushed so fast that it it just I think I don't know. And, Max, like, I swear he looked at Talitha, our this is our doula. And I was like, oh my god. He's so perfect. You know? And all Max could see from the other like, on the side was his cone head. Can you imagine not ever knowing that that happens and then seeing your baby for the first time? And he has this cone head, and Max immediately thought, like, he something was wrong. And so he was, like, looked at Talitha and was like, is everything okay? And he didn't wanna say, like, why does he look like that? So So he was like, is everything okay? And she's like, everything's perfect. And he was like, yeah. Like That's so funny. And then he's like, his his head's okay. And she went, oh, that happens. It's gonna go back to normal. And he's like, it will? And then he told me later, like, I fully thought, okay. Like, this is it. This is my child. And Oh my gosh. Well, before you leave, I wanna talk to you a second about Heartspring because I feel like we should do another. I feel like we should do another color. It's really eight years. Okay. It's really Maybe longer. I'm like a scientist. Okay. I don't go to a factory and sit down and go, these are the colors I want. Can you make them for me? I am making this lip balm myself. So I am Meghan Markle Mhmm. The s**t out of this stuff. I sit down. I mix it. I've got all my little goods. I've got all my little, you know, beeswax and shea butter, and then I have my little colored oxide that I mix in, blend that in, the powder that I've sourced from, like, an organic, you know, supplier. I've got all my stuff. So I'm actually, like, the little chemist at home making this lip balm. Need us to go over and color test? So I wish it was that easy, though. It's more about mixing these powders because you can't just get because these powders come in, like, red, black, like, primary colors. So you can't go, I'm gonna get, like, a cute mauve. No. Oxide doesn't work that way. It's a raw it doesn't that's not how it works. So you have to blend everything yourself. So if I wanna get a nude, I'd have to get brown, black. Like, you you mix your primary colors to get these and then add in a little white. It's hard. So the red is easier because I found the perfect red. My I went through so many, iron oxides like a natural mineral. That's what that is. And I've I've there was a bunch of reds too bright, too pink, too this, and then I found this one from the supplier that I loved. I bought, like, a bulk of this. I have this huge, huge batch of this, and I measure that in myself and mix it. And it was, like, the perfect lip balm, the perfect shade. We talk about this all the time, but I don't need to but it's it's to me and I also made this lip balm based off, I think, our palette of lips because we sort of have the same color natural, I think, lips. And it what this lip balm does, it just enhances that little bit of lip liner and it's like the perfect, but then you still have that silky buttery lip balm look. Yeah. Because I hate when I put on lipstick. It's too, like, matte or it looks like you've got lipstick on, whereas this just looks like you just have a healthy natural lip. That's what I was going for. So if I were to do another color, I well, let me what would be your color that you'd want? Well, I didn't realize it was gonna be so much hard work. I think two. I think there'd be two. I think, like, a a light I I don't know how lip balm works. I Let's I just let just just say what you'd know with all things aside. I think a a light nude k. And a mauve. K. So, like Yeah. A cooler toned mauve. Because I've I've so I've been rotating trying different lip colors and, like, lip tints because I'm just trying new things Well, and it's with my makeup. Out there. There's a lot of it. A lot of people are doing, you know look at all the brands. They're all doing these tinted balms and I haven't even tried other tinted balms, though. I mean, like, different lip liners I'm trying, like, different lip stains, like, different and I'm just realizing, like, oh, there aren't that many cool toned colors out there for us cool toned girlies. You're not a cool toned girlie. No. But I am. And, but also, this one looks great on me anyway. I don't need to rock the boat. I don't need to make life harder. Well, that's what I end up doing is I'm like, do what you do. And I'm like, let me branch out and let me get this. Let me try this. And then I always gravitate back to my lip balm. Yeah. So what I can do is do a darker red, but I don't tend to do that darker of a red on me, but I do have a lot of customers who obviously have different colored lips and skin tone that would love a, like, a deeper because if you look at brands that do tinted lip balm, my lip balm is probably on the more lighter shade than that they would have. No. I and but that I like that about that. So I could do a darker red and then I could I mean, ideally, my dream would be to get some sort of pinkish nude. That's that's what I'm Like a pillow talk ish, but in a lip balm? Yes. So that is the goal. But I need to Go for the darker red right now. I like the let's let's go the route. It's a lot of mixing. It's a lot of experimenting because this lip balm right here took, I think, a year. Yeah. So it it is a lot to do. And, yeah, I just have to sit down and really, like, chemist the s**t out of it and mix and color test and figure it out. It can be done. And you can't much easier. My life would be 26. My life would be easier if I could just be like a Hailey Bieber or like a Summer Fridays and just go sit down with, like, the people who make this in a factory and go, okay. This is the color I like. Go match it. Yeah. I like see you on Monday. But that takes a lot of money and a big team behind you. And right now, it really is just a smaller small time business and Yeah. I like keeping it that way so far and feeling in touch with my products, and we'll see. But that is on the list. I will get there. Okay. Just, like, let it marinate in the back of your head, but everyone can go buy the one that we use right now. Our holy grail. Heartspring. Is it heartspring.co or are you selling it on Etsy? I do we have a Etsy store, but, heartspring.co is our website. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I love you. I love you. I love you, my triple Virgo. Let's go have another coffee. It's early. No. Good. I hope everyone has a wonderful week. K. Bye. Bye. Love you. Bye. Are you looking for your next case? Pluto TV has all your favorite crime dramas streaming for free. You're gonna need some backup. In the short but terrible time that we thought TikTok was gone, Stassi had some big realizations?like maybe high-stress situations aren?t her thing. Thankfully, TikTok survived, and now she?s joined by hysterical TikTok star Max Balegde! Jackson?s unrecorded interview to Max?s rise from viral videos to international TV, this episode is packed with hilarious moments and UK vibes. All thanks to the app that almost wasn?t!
